Re: creating a dynamic distribution group with a RecipientFilter of 'Description'
gnussbaum hello, maybe this helps: - i have only exchange on-prem New-DynamicDistributionGroup -Name "DDL-Test" -Alias DDL-Test -OrganizationalUnit "yourAdDomain/yourOU/yourOUforSavingDistributingList" -RecipientFilter {((RecipientTypeDetails -eq 'UserMailbox') -and (Description -eq 'Employee'))} -RecipientContainer "yourAdDomain/yourOU/OUwithUsers" - you dont need Parameter "-RecipientContainer", if your scope is the entire AD - i didnt do this with the description field, but can test this in the next few days - if you have exchange online would say is the same, but not sure best wishes René2.2KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Introducing Sleeping Tabs Experiment: Improving Memory Usage in Microsoft Edge
Hi JohnTwilley , with Edge Chromium V89 stable Group Policy for setting up sleeping tabs and vertical tabs are working now. With V88 this did not work. Edge Chromium v89 stable Group Policy files for Edge v89 Windows Server 2019 TS Windows 10 VDI / PC Eleanor_Huynh is it possible to integrate a option for immidiatlly sending tabs to sleep, like in the flags but for the group policy? this would be great. Thanks.4KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Roadmap for PDF reader in Microsoft Edge
Hello posinha , Split and merge would be a great feature. In my organization these are the mostly asked features. Users scan documents in a batch or get documents, they have to split for different teams or projects. They don't need an heavy PDF tool like Adobe Acrobat. If tis could integrated, would be very nice. Thanks for this realy good browser!8.6KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Enable Flash per Site
We have an old HP EVA with a fFash based Management Website. This will changed to a newer Storage soon. But in the meantime we solved this with changing the local date/time on one PC to a point of time in the past. This is temporarly and not for daily use. Flash is over.2.7KViews0likes5CommentsRe: Introducing Sleeping Tabs Experiment: Improving Memory Usage in Microsoft Edge
JohnTwilley Hi John, mistakenly i wrote, that it works. But it did not. I think, i had set the flag for that on this computer some times ago. Today i testet again with our terminalservers. There where never set flags, It did not work! Only if i set the flag. Sorry for the inconvenience.3.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Extremely slow opening of Office files through SMB
Kushal1 in our case there was no sharepoint involved. This is, what i mean: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/32887181-2d25-4941-b527-6f223e8b88b0/how-to-remove-microsoft-office-file-valdation-addin "Office File Validation Add-In" is the name of the tool. It comes with windows update but stays in programs and feature. ( we have got this only with office 2010, not with o2016 or later) Another possibility found here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/troubleshoot/performance/office-slow-or-stop-responding Maybe your network connection has problems and this could help. But again, in our case there was no sharepoint in conjunktion with that.16KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Extremely slow opening of Office files through SMB
Computerlab years ago i can remember, that with office 2010, we had the same issue. We found in the programs and feature a microsoft offce 2010 file checking tool installed (maybe with an office update). I don´t know exactly the correct name, but if you look in to programs and feature it is obvious. After deinstallation it worked like expected. Hope this helps.16KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Microsoft Edge 85 Domain GPO Favorites & Favorites bar
Yaseenhh we use the ChromeManagedBookmarkEditor. https://github.com/somethingTacos/ChromeManagedBookMarksEditor You can build folders and subfolders with favorites. The editor generates a json . Copy and paste it into the group policy for configure favorites. I got this from a collegue and it works fine for us.13KViews0likes1Comment
