Re: How will integrate Office Hours with Microsoft VIVA?
Hi Debora - What a great question! Thank you so much for your interest in Microsoft Viva. Please take a look at some of our announcements from TODAY! Viva Insights Blog: https://aka.ms/VivaInsightsWellbeingUpdates Insights in Microsoft Mechanics from our Viva Insights GPM, Kamal Janardhan: aka.ms/VivaMechanics The bottom line to your question is that Microsoft always respects privacy of individuals and of business. Like all of our products, Viva Insights provides controls for Enterprise to maintain this respect. Again - Thank you for your interest in Viva! PLEASE don't do this. Windows 10 v.1809 ENT edition goes out of servicing after the May Patch Tuesday update. You will NOT receive security updates for 1809 after May. We do not want you to be in an unserviced state and be exposed to future threats or vulnerabilities. Also - 19H1 is also no longer serviced. You will need to move your devices to a currently serviced version which would be 1909 or higher (2004/20H2). We never want to see customers in an unserviced state.2.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Windows 10 Upgrade approaches
Hi Tony - Thank so much for taking the time to post your experience! This is actually what we would expect in terms of pros and cons - and the reason why we talk so much about on-going innovation in our servicing processes. You are showing all the work the teams across MEM and Windows are doing to create better experiences. Please post again once you move from 1909 to 20-O4 or 20H2. I believe the experience will be even better.1.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Dock issues
Please submit this through the Feedback Hub!! If you can catch logs through the Feedback Hub process, please make sure to gather and submit logs. We have engineering teams that are looking specifically at Feedback Hub for logs on this issue - and we would love more logs to be able to identify this more specifically.662Views0likes0CommentsRe: ConfigMgr Feature update issue
Stephane Lalancette - Hi Stephane - Thank you for your question. You will see a formal answer to this posted on our blogs shortly. This year we have had two security updates (CVE's) which have required that we update Windows SetUp files. As we update these files, the consequence is the need to have new media/feature update. This, in turn, will end up timing-out any feature update that would be pre-cached to the endpoint - and the need to bring down the new media. Please stay tuned in the next day or so for a blog on this. AND - yes - we understand the feedback and are looking at how we can improve this experience between our MEM, Fundamentals and Windows Servicing&Delivery teams.1.4KViews2likes1CommentRe: Co-Management & Off-site Devices
acjuelich Really tough situation with no pretty or easy answers here. IF there is somebody who has admin rights on the device, then you may have some scripting options. Without any admin access, you are going to have to get creative. (We have had customers in other situations actually create a drive up queue outside of their business with an IT Admin and a network cable to get settings updated from the network.) Please reach out to our FastTrack team who is working to help customers in exactly this situation. https://fasttrack.microsoft.com780Views1like0CommentsRe: Windows 1909 update
Hi Foued - This pause should not in any way impact your work for your company in any way. The pause is strictly the Microsoft upgrading of consumer devices to W10 v. 1909. We offer each release to Windows Update connected devices. For this pause, customers connected to Windows Update will need to go seek the upgrade which is still available; the upgrade will not automatically be offered and come down to their machines. For businesses, if you are using Windows Update for Business or WSUS/SCCM or 3rd party tools, the update is still available and can be rolled out as needed.1.1KViews2likes0CommentsRe: Does Windows Home Server 2011 have extended support?
