Re: Windows 365 Business Cloud PC Local Admin
M_Titcombe we introduced functionality in late 2021 to give admins more granular control over account types. Users who are assigned a Windows 365 Business Cloud PC have standard user permissions by default. This default can be changed in the Organization Settings available at windows365.microsoft.com. More information is available in our documentation: Change organizational default settings in Windows 365 Business | Microsoft Learn In addition, you can also change the account type on an already-created Cloud PC: Remotely manage Windows 365 Business Cloud PCs | Microsoft Learn4.5KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Cloud PC DeviceModel issue
SinceVanilla I apologize for the issue you're facing. We recently rolled out the ability for Windows 365 Business admins to more easily enroll their new Cloud PCs into Intune: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-365/business/change-organization-default-settings As part of this change, we now enroll with the model set to Cloud PC Business <config> to make it easier to identify Windows 365 Business Cloud PCs from any Virtual Machines you may also be managing with Intune. I would also recommend using a dynamic group like Jonathan Green mentioned. Please let me know if I can help with that.2.5KViews0likes0CommentsRe: windows 365 or virtual pc

Hello, Can you please try to explicitly grant local admin permissions on this specific Cloud PC via windows365.microsoft.com? For more information on the process, please refer to the documentation here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-365/business/remotely-manage-business-cloud-pcs?view=o365-worldwide#remote-management-actions Please note: For the role change to take effect, the user must sign out of Windows on their Cloud PC and sign back in. Alternatively, the admin can remotely restart the Cloud PC, but the user may lose any unsaved data.5.4KViews0likes1CommentRe: Setting up cloud PC stucks at VSB_Policy_with_Microsoft_365_Apps

Hi Mshamza, Resizing a Cloud PC in Windows 365 Business is not currently supported, but is supported in Windows 365 Enterprise like you mentioned. Could you please share more about your use case? For example: How often do you think you'll use the resize feature? What's the reason you'd like to resize - is it for better performance with additional vCPUs, ability to upgrade to more storage, etc.? Please also submit a feature request here and choose "Business" as the label: Windows 365 feature requests - Microsoft Tech Community6.6KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Setting up cloud PC stucks at VSB_Policy_with_Microsoft_365_Apps
