Cast button in toolbar doesn't work anymore
I'm on a Windows 10 tablet and since a few weeks in all my 3 installations (Stable, Dev 141.0.3500.1 , Canary 141.0.3518.0) the cast button in the toolbar doesn't work anymore. Only option I have now to initiate casting is with: Menu-Button => More Tools => Cast Media, which is quite annoying. Could someone from the developer team please take a look into that? Hello, with the latest update to 129.0.2792.52 Stable the Find-on-page sidebar feature got disabled completely. Now there's only the old and very limited pop-up box left for in page searches. Also all the flags related to find-on-page are gone: edge://flags/#edge-sidebar-find-on-page edge://flags/#edge-find-on-page-filters edge://flags/#edge-related-matches-for-find-on-page We noticed that this happened on the other channels before (Beta, Dev and Canary) when they switched to version 129. The Find-on-page sidebar is a stand alone feature for chromium based browsers and we use it a lot for researches. Especially the list of find occurrences is a big enhancement for navigating through long texts. Can someone from the team please give information if the Find-on-page sidebar got finally deprecated or just temporarily disabled for experimenting and will be available in the future soon? Since update to Canary 130.0.2800.0 the browser keeps crashing regularly after about 1 minute. Same on Canary 130.0.2801.0, 130.0.2802.0, 130.0.2803.0... Disabling extensions (especially uBlock) doesn't change the behavior, Canary still crashes. Only able to test on a Win 10 system at the moment, can anyone please confirm this happening on Win 11 too? Just noticed that the 'Use sidebar for find-on-page' function is missing in latest Dev 129.0.2752.4 and Canary 129.0.2772.0 Also all the flags related to find-on-page are gone in Dev and Canary: edge://flags/#edge-sidebar-find-on-page edge://flags/#edge-find-on-page-filters edge://flags/#edge-related-matches-for-find-on-page Still present and working on current Stable 127.0.2651.98 though. I really hope it's only temporary disabled for tracing the 'Sidebar doesn't start automatically' bug! Gouri_Murmu Well, but unfortunately the Status Access Violation bug of Canary 129.0.2739.0 - 129.0.2746.0 was ported to this Dev build! Not a very good practice to port a well known bug to the next level channel^^ So Dev is currently unusable for me now, hope the fix from Canary 129.0.2747.0 makes it into the next update soon.Re: Dev Channel update to 128.0.2661.0 is live.
Gouri_Murmu Just a minor issue, but for months now Dev and Canary builds have been ignoring the system colors in the title bar. It's all gray and makes it hard to distinguish active and inactive tabs. Still fine on Stable though. Could the developers please take a look at this, thanks!Re: microsoft wallet
KenSnyder Hi, I removed mine via powershell back then (Win 10 20H2), not sure if this still works on newer builds, since some apps have become part of the Windows 10/11 core. Gouri_Murmu Hi there, unfortunately the bug concerning text selection in input fields on Windows touch devices is still present. If you highlight a word in an input field (like the one I'm writing in right now) with finger or stylus and then try to select more/less text with the blue sliders, the page freezes^^Re: Dev Channel update to 121.0.2274.0 is live
Gouri_Murmu Page still freezes when you select text in a text input field on Windows touch devices and try to move the blue sliders to select more/less. This occurs on both Dev and Canary since switching to major release 121. Selecting with the mouse works, just touch fails. Could someone from the team please take a look into this, because it's really annoying and blocking my work flow. Thanks!
