Re: Microsoft Defender P1 and P2 - Any issues?
Basing on my experience, I haven't encountered any issues moving users from Defender P1 to P2. But I suggest doing it on a test user or few users first, then monitor it a few days. Can I also please know what specific services are you asking that might cause an issue? Part 2: Typically, you go back from P2 to P1. I also do not see any problems on this. The only issues that I encounter previously (very rare) is when I turn it off for few hours and turn it back on. It takes time sometime for changes to sync to the backend but most of the time there are no issues.Re: I paid full price for Office 365, yet I only see Word 2010 on my PC
john_antonacci Good day! On the screenshot that you have provided, I can surely say that your product is Microsoft 365. I think the misunderstanding comes in the Version 2010 here. It does not mean Office 2010 and if it is Office 2010, it should look like this: The Version 2010 that you are seeing on your screenshot with Build 13328.20408 is the version and the build number of the Current Channel of Microsoft 365 that was released last November 17, 2020. For each of these activities, a description of the setting that was changed (shown in parentheses) is displayed in the Item column in the the audit log search results. - Enables or disables interoperability between Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business for the organization (Skype for Business interoperability). I tried to test it by changing my interoperability from Islands to SkypeForBusinessWithTeamsCollaboration and search it under Audit Log but nothing shows also. I am not sure if it's propagating or loading on the backend but let me check tomorrow. Also, try to expand the time on your search.Re: MFA Shows Disabled, But Being Used
Try this: 1. Go to https://portal.azure.com 2. Use the search bar on the upper middle part of the page and search of "Azure Active Directory". 3. Under Azure Active Directory, search for Properties on the left-hand panel. It is in-between of User Settings and Security. 4. Under the Properties, click on Manage Security defaults. 5. Under the Enable Security defaults, toggle it to NO. 6. Wait for few minutes for propagation then try to sign-in using InPrivate or Incognito. It says: -> To fix this issue, follow these steps: Remove any unknown or unused inbound connectors from Office 365. To do this, follow these steps: Go to Exchange Admin Center, and sign in as an Exchange Online administrator. Select mail flow in the left-hand frame, and click connectors. If any connectors already exist for your organization, you can see them listed here. If you see any connectors that don't belong, you should remove them by selecting the connector and clicking the Trash icon. The following screenshot shows some sample connectors that you should have if you are in a hybrid scenario. All other connectors should be inspected and removed if they are not required. An example of connectors to and from Contoso email server Check the audit logs to determine whether a connector was created recently. Spammers are known to create connectors, send out lots of mail on that connector, and then delete the connector to cover their tracks. Because an admin account was compromised, change the passwords for all your admins. To prevent future compromise, enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) for, at least, the admin accounts.
