Re: [REQUEST]
Been clamoring for this for a long time. Actual, fully-threaded replies, with topic headers, just like a forum. It seems so completely obvious to me that not having this is what keeps many people from adopting Teams and keeps them dependent on using email for internal communications. My users' feedback is always centered around, "the information in channels is not organized or browsable in an easy way". A forum architecture would address that (and quite a few other sticking points users seem to have). I have yet to hear a good counterargument why it wouldn't be useful, and especially like your idea of it being a new channel type, rather than the way all channels work.61Views1like0CommentsRe: Teams email notifications of missed chats coming from wrong email address?
Paul_Keijzers There is no service account involved that I am aware of, it's just 2 regular users chatting on Teams with their regular user accounts. Maybe I am not understanding the question, but how/when would service accounts factor into Teams chats/email notifications? Thanks, Bob827Views0likes3CommentsWhat does disabling an Azure AD device actually do?
In a AAD only org, with Windows 10 Enterprise computers all Azure AD joined and managed by Intune, exactly what does "disabling" the device via the AAD Portal -->Devices-->Select a device-->Disable do? It seems to have absolutely no impact on our devices' abilities to continue to login to AAD, and access Office 365 apps/services, for example. Perhaps I naively assumed that disabling a device actually meant that it would be disabled in the sense that you couldn't login to your org via AAD login, or, even if you were, you wouldn't be able to do anything that required AAD - which in my mind includes Office 365. Am I mistaken? Thanks, Bob124KViews2likes6CommentsTeams Polls - Where are the results (by name of respondent)?
I've created a Poll (via Forms) as a post in a channel for my Team. The card created for the poll states, "Results are visible to everyone; Names recorded", however, I cannot for the life of me figure out who submitted responses - can't find where these names are recorded. Anyone know how to get this info? Otherwise it's just a completely anonymous poll. Thanks, BobSolved1.3MViews16likes65CommentsRe: Unable to login to device after retiring from Intune
Mark145 It's been so long, so I may be giving you misinformation here. I think may have been able to manually assign a password to the local account once I was in safe mode using the LUSRMGR.msc command to bring up the Users and Groups applet?5.7KViews0likes0CommentsLoop components in Teams channels - when?
I could swear that I'd read someplace that being able to post Loop components into a Team channel was going to be supported, but I'm unable to find any reference in the M365 roadmaps or elsewhere. Does anyone know what the plans are for this? They'd be a lot more likely to be explored by my users if this were possible.Unable to login to forms.office.com
For the past hour or so I've been unable to authenticate/login to https://forms.office.com on 2 different tenants with multiple user accounts/browsers after clearing browser caches. Anyone else seeing this? I'll submit a ticket either way. Thanks, Bob958Views0likes0CommentsShared mailbox anomaly - Outlook Web
We have recently setup an Exchange shared mailbox, however, one user is having an issue. It seems that when she navigates to the shared mailbox "People" tab, the Contact folder for the shared mailbox is missing. It appears for all other users. As far as I can tell, all users are identically licensed, and the permissions/sharing of the mailbox are identical as well. It happens regardless of browser or computer she uses to access the mailbox. Below is a screen shot of side-by-side comparison showing the same shared mailbox open for 2 different users. Can anyone suggest what might be going wrong here?500Views0likes0CommentsOffice Customization Tool missing setting(s)?
chhopkin I'm using the Office Customization Tool at config.office.com to attempt to configure Outlook with a list of "Default Internet Calendar subscriptions", but the setting, while present in the list, doesn't seem to include the ability to actually be set to anything (the right fly-out pane has no editable fields), and I can't find any documentation for the XML to add it in manually. Any guidance appreciated.Determine when a computer was disconnected from Azure AD?
Is there any way to determine when a computer (in this case a Windows 10 PC) was disconnected from Azure AD? It was previously joined to the organization and at some point in the past few months the user managed to disconnect himself. The Azure AD audit log only goes back 7 days.1.1KViews0likes0CommentsSign-in reports - missing events for specific users
I'm poking around AAD Sign-In reports (AAD Premium license, EMS+Security E3) and notice that some of my users whom I know definitively have been signing in are no where to be found in the logs. Not a single event for certain users. For example, a user with whom I am exchanging emails (he's using Outlook mobile app on his iPhone, Skype for Business for IM and PSTN calling on his phone) shows no sign-ins whatsoever. There are no filters applied to the report, I am pulling all events from the past 7 days. I am seeing this for a few other known users as well. Does anyone know what might be going on or what might be causing this? Thanks, Bob8.2KViews0likes5CommentsRe: Teams Admin Center - Call Timeline
But it doesn't. I don't know how to interpret either view. For example, in the picture I show, a second line starts for the first participant at about 50 seconds into the call. What is that? Answering a Call Queue? The participant view doesn't shed any light. I'm sure it is an attempt to depict the pathway an incoming call took through the attendant/call queue, being put on hold, being transferred, being picked back up, etc...but it's entirely unclear.2.8KViews0likes1Comment
