Re: New pricing for Microsoft Dynamics 365 effective October 2024 - impact on nonprofit pricing?
Hi MattBurr, the nonprofit pricing is based on a discount level from the commercial price in each market. Hence if the commercial price increases, then so will the nonprofit pricing. I hope that this clarifies.Re: Copilot for Microsoft 365 Offers/Pricing for Non Profits
swin66 Alongside the clarity that Rupert offered, it's worth noting the following: If you are using Microsoft 365 Business Basic then you can already make use of the free version of Copilot (what was called Bing Chat Enterprise) which keeps any data that you paste into the chat secure and does not track your history. Also using the new 'Notebook' capability (Top of the Copilot screen) then you can use up to 18000 characters rather than the standard 2000 to help you to write more complex prompts and include more pasted content. If you do want to get access to Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 and it's enhanced features then you could move from Business Basic to Business Premium which is free for the first 10 users, and then add the licence of Copilot as shared earlier.Re: Copilot for Microsoft 365 Offers/Pricing for Non Profits
eshers thank you for the question but at this time there will not be a nonprofit price. Instead, nonprofits that see value in Copilot would need to make use of the commercial offer, but the base offer licence e.g. Microsoft 365 Business Premium etc can be a nonprofit offer.Re: Commercial segment offers include Non-Profit products in January 2024?
Hi Anna_V , There were a number of inconsistencies in the price list that was published for January and the intent of the product team to provide clarity with the February preview on what is not going to be purchasable until March, with release Wave 1 of the nonprofit pricing then. This should mean that you get the clarity on the offers mentioned in the February preview. akhanna1986 You can find the architecture documentation for the end-to-end solution around MC4N on GitHub. The link below explains how different areas connect to each other, especially when it comes to payment processing. It also includes the relational database design of all custom tables. GitHub - microsoft/fundraising-and-engagement: Fundraising and Engagement for Dynamics 365 Sales helps nonprofits modernize donor and constituent engagement to increase mission impact. There is also the Microsoft Learning Path that covers the capabilities for MC4N. This learning path shows you how to manage nonprofit fundraising and engagement with Microsoft Cloud for Nonprofit. For that, you will need to develop that, or use a partner solution that integrate with the Dataverse and handle online donations.Re: Copilot for nonprofits - pricing and offers
Hi LarsKemmann_ no change. The 'GA' is only for EA customers committing to a set volume of licences. No view on dates for enablement on CSP or Buy Online. I hear the concern but it's hard to say if the price is truly prohibited until customers get to understand the time that Microsoft 365 can save. Meantime we are encouraging nonprofits to get Copilot ready by moving to Microsoft 365 offers and start making more use of Bing Chat Enterprise where they can combine pasted internal information with web research to create fundraising letters or research. The benefit of Bing Enterprise Search is that it is not a persistent chat so when closing the session that history goes, and we do not use the chat session or data for training, which is different to ChatGPT, Google, and Bing Chat Commercial. We're seeing nonprofits get great value from Bing Chat Enterprise and its a no cost way to start to see what value they might then get from Microsoft 365 Copilot.Re: Next steps in CSP new commerce: Commercial legacy seat-based subscription migration and introduction
Hi WillBen and thank you for the question. Nonprofit and EDU will not move to NCE in November. The term PubSec is used to cover any non-commercial business offers. The readiness team will give clarity on the three different industries and the migrating offers in the future communication to avoid additional confusion.2.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Copilot for nonprofits - pricing and offers
Hi MattBurr, thanks for the question. At the moment Microsoft 365 Copilot is on limited GA with commercial Enterprise customers, but we can anticipate that over the months ahead that could open up for more customers to gain access. Given the gradual roll out of the solution there are no current commitments on if or when nonprofit pricing might arrive. We are seeing interest from nonprofits that have had some exposure to Microsoft 365 Copilot and it may be that we see some nonprofits choose to make use of the commercial priced SKU once it's more generally available given the impact it can have. We see nonprofits making increased use of AI technologies and the recent release of Bing Chat Enterprise is something that nonprofits are already using to help merge internal and external data together to draw insight and create content in a secure way, and the news that Windows Copilot is rolling out brings another AI tool that will help nonprofits improve their operations. Meantime, Copilots in Power BI and Power Platform are also helping nonprofit customers to more easily derive insights, automate tasks, and create lightweight applications. It's certainly true that Copilots can create a lot of value to nonprofits.
