To your specific example however - this is due to them over-riding within their UI the focus styles created by the platform as can be seen in their stylesheet here: This does not impact web rendered content as can be seen here on Fidelity.com Chrome Canary 84 (Left) / Edge Canary 84 (Right) If we continue to get feedback from users that they do not like the overall aesthetics we'll go back to doing some user research. Out of curiosity, if I offered you a toggle to adjust that, would you use that? I prefer - as noted in the blog and above, to have the default err on the side of being accessible. But I also understand people, even in the study, have a difference of opinion on aesthetics. We spent a lot of time across companies going over this and which direction was the best one. Let me know about the setting (btw, I'm merely brainstorming at the moment and that is only one possible solution - happy to hear others if you got 'em). After reaching out to the company regarding this site we were able to give this page a test-drive and it no longer repros in Edge 78.0.277, below is a comparison of Edge Canary & Chrome Canary: Chrome is left, Edge is right If you can make sure your Edge version is up to date and then test it again and let me know if it still repros. mancerrss Thanks for providing this. Any chance you can also share this via the "Send Feedback" button as this will provide us with more details. Additionally, this will aid allowing dupes from users to be collated which may aid in us determing the core issue. I noticed that you have Chrome Canary on your box as well, are you experiencing the same issue there? BruceLH Sergio Hernandez Thank you so much for this feedback. You're not being picky at all, this is one that we actually addressed in EdgeHTML in 2016. We're actively investigating this space to understand further the design decisions made by the Chromium community. Deleted Thank you so much for reaching out and providing this feedback! This is one area that we are aware of and also some of the design decisions that went into the decisions made in the past by Chromium in this area. We are actively investigating this space on how best to possibly address this as there are some areas where it is very evident and this does impact the overall end-user experience.
