Now Ondemand: Microchip University: Connect MCU/MPU devices to the cloud with Azure IoT w/ slides
We just hosted our Microchip University: Connect MCU/MPU devices to the cloud with Azure IoT Deep Dive session. This was the first session out of 5, where we will be digging into how to connect devices to the cloud. Video is now ondemand here: https://aka.ms/deepdive/Microchip-University/Microsoft-Connecting-Devices Slides are attached to this post! In the first session in this series, we will discuss how to build a smart, connected and secure MCU (PIC24, AVR, SAM) or MPU (SAM) embedded device. Azure services such as IoT Hub, Azure RTOS, Azure SDK for Embedded C, and Device Provisioning Service (DPS) will be explored. We will wrap up with a demo of the DPS with PIC24 and Azure RTOS with the SAM E54. Join us in our last IoT Deep Dives of this calendar season. We'll have live Q/A in both sessions. (Please note: The Microchip University sessions series will start back up again in Jan!) irfanwalid - Thanks for your patience! The lead for this group mentioned that the original study group was run through the US Partner Community, that is the default registration description. However, they want to confirm that that international registration is not restricted for this study group and you can join! We are looking into moving the location outside of the US event builder, so that it won't be confusing for folks who want to join outside of the US. Thanks! 🙂1.2KViews0likes0CommentsJoin & ask questions Monday 9am-10am PT, July 20 for Deep Dive: #WindowsIoT!

LIVE EVENT with Q/A! Upcoming IoT Show Deep Dive on Oct 23rd, Wednesday at 9am-10am PT Check out ink for more info, calendar invite, and live stream: http://aka.ms/deepdive/iotedgecicd Hi everyone! If you are looking into doing Continuous integration and continuous deployment with IoT Edge Modules, we are going to deep dive into best practices with Azure DevOps and Jenkins. This deep dive will be packed with technical walk-throughs & demos based on real-world scenarios using IoT Edge. Every Deep Dive are Live with Q/A, so come with all your questions! this is level 300-400 content. (meaning if you are just starting with Azure DevOps and IoT Edge, please consider watch a couple intro videos that are linked below before hand) Azure IoT Edge scales out your IoT solution by packaging your business logic into standard containers, then you can deploy those containers to any of your devices and monitor it all from the cloud. However, integrating containers into a continuous delivery pipeline is far from easy. Along with the benefits Azure IoT Edge brings, there are challenges both tech and process related. This Deep Dive outlines the steps you need to take for a fully automated CI/CD pipeline that builds IoT Edge modules deployed into Azure IoT Edge devices at scale with confidence. We will show how solution developers and operators can setup the pipelines with their preferred CI/CD tools like Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, etc. Speakers: Deep Dives are hosted by Pamela Cortez from the Azure IoT Team. Deep Dives are interactive live events, so join us learn and ask questions with our panel of security and IoT experts. Special extra time after the event to make sure our security experts can answer all your questions! The enormity of data and the evolution of intelligence in IoT is inspiring new computational models that distribute compute from cloud to edge and synthesize data to improve business outcomes. The result is rapid growth in patterns such as deploying proprietary algorithms and data including AI, generating valuable insights including monetization avenues in, and creating direct actions including those controlling downstream critical infrastructure from IoT devices. But such patterns are potentially susceptible to exposure of algorithms, data, valuable insights, and tampering of actions unless the computational environment is protected by confidential computing. Confidential computing is difficult and Microsoft, together with partners, has embarked on simplifying confidential computing in IoT using enclaves on Open Enclave SDK. Join us in this interactive session to experience the investments in simplifying confidential computing firsthand. Who should attend? Developers: Witness tooling integration for familiar development flows and start your confidential computing development now. Business partners: Witness how confidential computing in IoT is within the business scope of safely deploying confidential operational models to the edge for improved business outcomes.
