Re: DCRs
Hi there JillArmourMicrosoft & stepashka, if I understand correctly, you are talking about Data collection rules (DCRs) in Azure Monitor, right? If so, then you could enable diagnostic settings that will help you track DCR metrics and collect log errors and analytics (see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/data-collection/data-collection-monitor). On the same directions, you can also set up alerts to proactively know what went wrong (details on the same link). Lastly, creating automated bulk status checks will help you a lot, either via Azure CLI (az monitor data-collection rule list) or PowerShell (Get-AzDataCollectionRule). Hope that helps :)Re: FY26 CSP Incentives - Ann/Mon & Mon/Mon Subscriptions
MartijnElfers much appreciated for your reply. What are you saying is that incentives have nothing to do with the subscription term. Either annual/annual, annual/monthly or monthly/monthly subscriptions will turn to FY26 guide starting Oct. 1, 2025. Is my understanding correct??? TBH, I had the opinion that an annual/annual & annual/monthly subscription will generate FY26 incentives on its renewal after Oct. 1, 2025. Thank you in advance!59Views0likes1CommentFY26 CSP Incentives - Ann/Mon & Mon/Mon Subscriptions
Dear community, We are a Distributor (ex. Ind. Provider) in CSP and we would like you to help us on understanding the changes in our Incentives in FY26. As announced already, starting October 1, 2025, the FY26 levers and rates will be in place. We would like your assistance to determine the two following use case: a) one of our Indirect Resellers has a M365 subscription with monthly commitment and monthly payment. Within September 2025, this specific subscription will give us incentives under the FY25 levers and rates (will be recalculated in February 2026 under the FY26 levers and rates). So, based on the announcement, on October 2025, this subscription will start generating incentives under the FY26 levers and rates. Could you please confirm my understanding or reshape accordingly? b) one of our Indirect Resellers has a M365 subscription with annual commitment and monthly payment, with the renewal of the subscription to be on 15 March 2026. Based on our understanding, until the renewal, this subscription will be generating incentives based on the FY25 levers and rates due to the price protection of the subscription for the whole year, and will switch on generating incentives based on the FY26 levers and rates on the renewal date (i.e., 15 March 2026). Could you please confirm my understanding or reshape accordingly? Really much appreciated in advance for your significant help on this critical topic for our target setting and business decisions. Dear community, We are a Distributor (ex. Indirect Provider) and we are having few customers with renewals on discontinued products. In detail, one of these products is POWERPLATFORM - Power Apps per app plan (SKU: CFQ7TTC0LHQM:0001), where the partners have autorenew enabled. So we want to be 100% sure that these partners that are having autorenew enabled will be able to renew their subscription without issues. Thank you in advance! NickSolvedUpdated MPA - Extended Term & Opt Out Explanation
Dear community, We are an Indirect Provider in CSP and we have been reviewing the updated version of the MPA that is available for review in Partner Center. As we were reading it, we saw a new clause. more specifically clause 8 (g) in page 43 that describes that and I quote "Extended Term for Expiring Subscriptions. If a Software Subscription or seat-based OLS Subscription is not renewed at the end of the subscription term, access to the applicable Software or OLS will continue following expiration for 30 days and may continue thereafter for successive one-month periods until cancelled (“Extended Term”). Microsoft reserves the right to invoice Company for the Extended Term at the then-current published price for a monthly subscription plus a three (3) percent uplift. If it does, Microsoft will provide Company with an opportunity to opt out of the Extended Term prior to the expiration date and request instead that the applicable Subscription either be renewed automatically or disabled immediately upon expiration. Company will have 90 days to extract Customer Data from a disabled account, but the Subscription cannot be reactivated." Following the above new clause, could please help us understand the following two questions: Does the "Extended Term" as described above include the 30 first days after the expiration of a subscription or not? Could you please enlighten us on the way that this "opt out opportunity" will be systematically implemented? How will we be able to utilize this opportunity for our partners/indirect resellers? Kindly asking for your significant help on these points as it is critical for our business decisions to avoid unforeseen costs for our partners. Thank you in advance, NickSolvedHow "Maximum Earning Opportunity" in Incentives works?
Dear community, We would like your prompt and precious support on helping us understand how the Maximum earning opportunity (MEO) works. Fyi, we are an Indirect Provider in SP program. We have one of our biggest bids, that includes a pleathora of Microsoft 365 E3. M365 E3 is coming with 2 types of incentives, "Core" & "Global SPA T1". Following the latest file "CSP Indirect Provider Incentives Guide (1January2025)", M365 E3 has a MEO threshold of $118,750 for the "Core " type of incentive, while it also has MEO threshold of $125,000 for the second one, the "Global spa – Tier 1" incentive for Innovate markets. The questions: could you please help us understand how the MEO is being calculated and used? Does these MEOs are being summed up as part of our project (per customer tenant and/or per partner) offering a total of $243.750 ($118,750+$125,000) or are they being calculated separately per incentive type, setting the limit to the aforementioned thresholds? Kindly asking for a prompt response on this in order to make our decision on the proposal. Thank you so much in advance! Much appreciated Sharma, Your reply confirms our initial understanding of the documentation. However, I will give some time if any other participant in the community wants to share a different idea on this point. Afterwards, I will mark your reply as the solution on my question. Warm regards, Nick112Views1like0CommentsCopilot: extra license for Teams?
Dear community, We have a request from one of our resellers (we are an Ind. Provider) when it comes to M365 Copilot and its usage in Teams. More specifically, they want to use Copilot as an AI assistant during meetings sessions to help them with meeting minutes, meeting summarization and so on. The question: is this achievable with just having the prerequisite licenses (e.g., M365 Premium etc) and M365 Copilot or do they need to have Teams Premium? Thank you in advance for your helpful insights to close this deal. Warm regards, NickSolved190Views1like2CommentsRe: URGENT: NCE subscription Cancellation hour limitation within a day!
Dear Martijn, Much appreciated for your continuous significant inputs! These is also our impresssion. P.S.: Wording limitation also noted from my end, this is why I am asking about "a whole amount payback"! 😁 Will keep this thread open for bit longer, and if no further questions should arise, I will mark your reply as the solution. Dear Community, happy holiday to everybody! We need to make a decision on a subscription cancellation, and our Finance DPT has the impression that as part of a past cancellation within the 7 days window, we have not received a full refund. Let's say that on 09:00 am we created a new NCE subscription. However, around noon, we received the info that we have to cancel it. The question: except from the 7 days/168 hours cancellation window, is there any other hour limitation withing the same day of cancelling a subscription in order to get a whole amount payback? It will be really important for the whole community to understand this point clearly. Thank you in advance for your significant support! Warm regards, NickSolvedURGENT: Office LTSC Standard 2024: priced per user or per device?
Dear community, As we need to plan our offer for a big deal through the CSP channel, could you please help us how is the Office LTSC Standard 2024 being billed? Is it per user or per device/PC? Furthermore, if it is per device/PC, and for example we have 5x PCs, then we should buy 5x different licenses or can we install Office LTSC in more than one PC with just 1x license (something like Multiple Activation Key)? Please help us on this the soonest in order to conclude with the offer submission. Warm regards, NickSolvedURGENT: Modern Work SMB Designation Questions
Dear Community, As we are planning our following the end of Legacy Silver & Gold Benefits, we would like your significant help to reply the below questions: 1. Will we be able to have both the Modern Work SMB Designation that we are eligible for & also buy the Partner Success Core pack? 2. Does Microsoft 365 E5 that is included in the Solutions Partner Designation Modern Work SMB include Teams? 3. Does Viva Suite that is included in the Solutions Partner Designation Modern Work SMB include Viva Goals? 4. Could you please confirm that we are able to combine the new partner benefits packages, meaning that we are able to buy one unit of each package (e.g., 1x Partner Launch & 1x Partner Success Core). Thank you in advance for your prompt actions to help us conclude with our FY25 budget! Warm regards, NickSolved206Views0likes2CommentsURGENT - Renewing Legacy Silver/Gold Benefits
Dear community, Following August's announcement regarding the end of Legacy benefits, we would like to find out if there is any possibility to renew a legacy silver/gold benefit before our renewal window opens. As mentioned in the announcement, a partner can renew their legacy benefit until Jan. 21,2024. However, our renewal window starts on April. Therefore, as we are not capable to renew our legacy benefits, could you please advise if there is any way to renew it outside our renewal window? Probably this will be a hot questions also for other partners to know. Thank you in advance for your significant support! :) Warm regards, Nick105Views0likes1Comment
