Re: Folder automapping for account that has been deleted.
regen_lweeks The delay is introduced by the fact that Outlook picked whatever change you made through Autodiscover and Autodiscover usually runs once every hour in the background. Only after Outlook performed a successful autodiscover on your mailbox you got to see the effect of your configuration changes. P.S. Interesting post explaining why the backlinks (msExchDelegateListBL) in AD are read only: https://itworldjd.wordpress.com/2011/07/21/what-forward-and-backlinks-in-ad-are-and-how-group-membership-is-stored-in-ad/7.4KViews1like1CommentRe: auto forwarding email removes email address of incoming email
You should redirect the messages instead of forwarding them. "Redirected messages appear as though they came from the original sender. Use a redirect message rule when you want replies to redirected messages to go to the original sender." https://support.office.com/en-us/article/use-rules-in-outlook-web-app-to-automatically-forward-messages-to-another-account-1433e3a0-7fb0-4999-b536-50e05cb67fed4.4KViews0likes1CommentRe: Tracking meeting response visible to all participants

From the article above I understand that this feature is not available in Outlook MSI.20KViews1like0CommentsRe: How to create rule email to detect html link has in contend email ?
I guess you are afraid of potentially malicious URLs in emails or office documents. If that's the case, I think the best protection for that is Office 365 ATP Safe Links. Check this page for more details: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/securitycompliance/atp-safe-links2.8KViews0likes6CommentsRe: Retention tag and policy for shared mailbox
The way retention policies work is like this: -you create a retention policy and add tags to it -you assign the policy to specific mailboxes (in your case to enquiries and let's say that you don't assign the policy to peoples mailboxes) -the retention policy works for the emails inside the enquiries mailbox -an email that once was inside the enquiries mailbox and had a tag applied to it will lose that tag once it's forwarded to a user mailbox and will obey to the retention policy assigned to the user mailbox, if any is assigned I hope this answers your question, at least partially if not fully :)4.4KViews0likes1CommentRe: Retention policy
The tag called "Default 2 years move to archive" applies to all the items that don't have any other tag applied, so yes, this tag can be the reason for items being moved to the archive. If the user doesn't manually move anything to the archive, then the newest item in the archive might be 2 years old if it was moved because of the above-mentioned tag.1.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Mailbox Information
I'm not sure why you are asking this, but there are some scenarios where it's important to know the exact Exchange forest where a mailbox exists and its not hard to find that out because the information is "encoded" in the mailbox server name. For example, and I'm just making this up now because I'm writing from my phone and I don't have access to PowerShell, the mailbox server name might be AMSPR06MB3245. AMS=Amsterdam datacenter PR06=Exchange forest MB=mailbox (CA=cas server)2.3KViews0likes1CommentRe: Migrating from Gsuite to Office 365 Migrated accounts cant send email to domain users
On the Microsoft 365 Roadmap there is this feature: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?featureid=43782 Google G Suite to Office 365 migration We've heard the feedback and we're excited to announce the new G Suite migration experience which will allow you to directly migrate email, calendar and contacts from Google G Suite to Office 365! Our highly secure solution ensures your data is directly migrated to Office 365, with no resting points along the way. We're also adding support for migrating mailbox in batches. I'm not sure exactly when it will be generally available, but if you contact O365 support you might get permission to use the preview.6KViews1like1Comment
