We saw an error similar to this when the AVD hosts wasn't able to resolve the download URLs for the extensions (i.e. DNS error). Can you confirm that the DNS servers set in your Virtual Network are online and available?

New Feature: Move disconnected sessions to a different host?
I looked briefly but didn't see a place where we can suggest new ideas/features for Microsoft to implement for the Azure Virtual Desktop product, so I thought I'd post it here in hopes of getting attention from Microsoft. 🙂 If there's a different place to posts enhancement requests, I'm more than happy to move my request to the correct place. We're using Nerdio for automatic scaling of our AVD Host Pools. One of the features that would be extremely useful is the ability to move a disconnected session to a different host in the host pool so that Nerdio can scale-in the empty hosts. Ideally, we'd be able to move any session to a different host, but we'd be happy to get disconnected session moves.

We've found the issue was the storage account being in a different region than the host and that was causing a delay in the logoff. When we put the storage account in the same region, the log-off was back down to 5-10 seconds.

Excellent find, Tom! Out of curiosity, how quickly after you made the change in Intune were you able to start provisioning hosts again? (i.e. Do we need to wait for the change to be propagated/replicated to Azure for the error to go away?) We made the change over 45 minutes ago but are still unable to create an AVD Host.

We're having this issue (Black screen on logout) even on the 2210 hotfix 1. Does anyone know if there's another fix besides rolling back or the registry changes that are suggested by the other replies?
