Store a file in Azure and make it accessible over the Internet
I wish to store a txt file in Azure and make it so that the file is accessible when someone goes to it's corresponding URL. No need for access control or authentication The file contain a filter list that the ABP extension will access via URL and this txt file will be stored somewhere in Azure. What Azure solution can I use for this which keeps the price down for us?1.1KViews0likes2CommentsDisable Teams (Preview) on shared meeting room computers
We have major compatibility issues between Teams (preview) and the Poly USB speakers in these meeting rooms. These are shared computers so multiple users can login with their AD credentials onto these devices. Is there a way to disable via GPO or Registry the availability of Teams Preview on our shared meeting room computers? Needs to be some type of device based setting and user based setting won't work.398Views0likes0CommentsWindows Hello Biometrics won't work after upgrade from Win10 to Win11
As attached, the PIN option works fine but Biometrics won't work. Uninstalled the Windows Hello and Fingerprint reader drivers, rebooted no go. Uninstalled the Windows Hello from Additional Features, reinstalled no go. Reviewed and the correct GPOs are applying, so not sure what is causing this and how to resolve.1.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: LAPS - Possible to manually specify a password for the Administrator account?
The link is useful but that's not what I'm trying to achieve here. LAPS already randomizes the password for me but the password ends up being so complex that it's painful to type in when I'm troubleshooting devices logged in as Administrator. Restarting is a big part of troubleshooting requiring me to re-enter the password so I'm trying to find another way. I want to specify a simple, easy-to-remember password like "Loginpasskey2022" and laps pushes this to the end device's Administrator account which I can then use to log in to the device.1.2KViews0likes2CommentsLAPS - Possible to manually specify a password for the Administrator account?
Can I use the Reset-AdmPwdPassword or a similar Powershell command to send a specific password to the end device? From what I can tell if I run Reset-AdmPwdPassword, this is going to change the password to a random string and I'd like to specify a less complex password.Re: ADCS Certificate template shows a number instead of the template name
Hi Lain, Thanks very much for pointing me in the right direction. The template I was looking at seems to have been deleted from Active Directory which is why it was showing the OID number instead. I deleted the template from ADCS, created a new Certificate Template and the new one shows up with the correct name of the Certificate template now. I'm looking at the Certification Authority console and under Issued Certificates, one of my certificates shows up properly with "client authentication certificate" but the other RAS & IAS certificate shows up with just the number. I'm not sure why it's showing just the number instead of the certificate name. Any ideas about what I've missed here?
