Re: Maturity framework for digital transformation
Thanks Lesley Crook and SharonWeaver! I've done some reading on the Maturity Model for M365, but it would be great to hear how it's implemented. I like how the levels are articulated and it seems like a great model from a governance perspective. Maybe what I'm thinking about is change management required between the levels along with the additional skilling and resourcing needed to achieve them.116Views1like0CommentsRe: Copilot in PowerPoint: Status of Word-from-OneDrive Feature for Personal Accounts
I can see the same issue you do. One way around it is to copy the link of the the file from OneDrive or from the open file and paste that into the Copilot side bar. For example: Create a presentation from [FILE] That should work for you. Hopefully the rest of the interface gets updated soon.84Views1like2CommentsMaturity framework for digital transformation
Before I end up going too much further down a rabbit hole with this, is anyone else using an adoption framework that recognises the tech maturity of users? Ive regularly used something similar to crawl/walk/run/fly but I’d like to put some more structure around it so it’s easy to apply to any tech. For example, if you pick up anything from the MOCA stack, you can show stages of maturity as people integrate it into their work. The challenge is that I often see organisations push out a new tool and expect radical change without addressing the basics. If we can provide a flexible, visual for decision makers and a rough roadmap for project managers/learning & development/change, we can be realistic about what to expect. Keen to hear what others use or if that sort of resource would be useful.256Views2likes4CommentsRe: Copilot Access to Calendar and Email
First, let’s check that Copilot Chat experience in iOS Outlook. Make sure that the toggle at the top of the screen is switched to Work mode. You should be able to ask it questions about your work data (e.g. What should be on my radar for today?) This Copilot experience is the same Chat that you get elsewhere (e.g. m365.cloud.microsoft, Teams, M365 Copilot app) it’s not quite like the embedded experience you access in Outlook via the ribbon (top) menu that can take action (e.g. set up 1:1 meetings). However, you still get functionality like: Schedule with Copilot (turns email into a calendar invite) Summarise Draft/rewrite/coaching456Views0likes0CommentsRe: No Tabs or Buttons Appearing in Teams
Hey Chuck, The version you’re using is Microsoft Teams Free which has different capabilities to the work/school version of Teams. In Microsoft Teams Free, you can create communities instead of teams. It’s pretty handy for bringing people together if they’re all on Teams with personal accounts. The file management is limited here, and the tabs aren’t available unfortunately. You can read up on what you can do here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/getting-started-with-communities-in-microsoft-teams-free-for-desktop-ee32b27c-a609-4b7d-8690-e8a143aa983661Views0likes0CommentsRe: Cannot delete organisation from Teams
Hey, it comes up a lot. Here are the steps to take: To leave an organisation with your personal account: Sign in to https://myapps.microsoft.com At the top-left, select the arrow and go to My Account Select Manage Organizations Select Leave next to the organization you want to leave Confirm that you want to leave What if I can't leave? In some cases, you may not be able to leave the organisation. This is likely due to a setting that they have that disables the ability for external users to leave the organisation. You can read more about this on the Microsoft Support page.60KViews14likes48CommentsRe: Organization-Level Memory Layer for Microsoft Copilot
If you haven’t already checked it out, Copilot Tuning is on its way that should meet some of your requirements: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/copilot/microsoft-365/copilot-tuning-process I’m onboard with what you’re talking about though. Having a consistent, custom experience at an org-level would be a win.70Views0likes0CommentsRe: Request for Copilot Pro Discount for Non-Commercial Advocacy & Legacy User
Hey Bob, I’m not aware of anything for individuals. But if you’re part of a nonprofit, you may want to have a look at what’s available through Microsoft’s Nonprofit programs. There are eligibility requirements that you’ll need to meet: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/nonprofits Also, be aware that this is a public platform. You can edit your post if you need to remove any personal information.58Views0likes0CommentsRe: Agent not visible in M365 Copilot
[2025 Update: Agents built in Copilot Studio can now be accessed through M365 Copilot Chat] Hey, if you built it in Studio, did you extend the Microsoft 365 Copilot (declarative agent) or did you create a custom agent? Option 1: If you used the option to extend the Microsoft 365 Copilot: Go to Copilot Studio Select Agents Select Copilot for Microsoft 365 Select your published agent Under Publish details, select Availability options Select Copy Paste the URL into a web browser which will take you Teams to install your agent. Then it should appear on the right of your Copilot Business Chat where you can pin it. Here's some documentation for more details: Publish and Manage Copilot Studio Agent Builder Agents | Microsoft Learn Option 2: If you just created a custom agent, this won't appear in Microsoft 365 Copilot Business Chat, it'll appear as a custom app. Go to Copilot Studio Select Agents Select your published agent Select the Channels tab If you just want it in Teams, select Microsoft Teams (you may need to Turn on Teams if you haven't already done so) Select Open Agent which should take you through the process of installing it as an app for yourself on the left side of Teams. You could also share with others through the Availability options Here's some documentation for more details: Key concepts - Publish and deploy your agent - Microsoft Copilot Studio | Microsoft Learn3.4KViews2likes7CommentsRe: Knowledge sources in Copilot Agents vary by user
It would be a licensing issue. The 'free' version, M365 Copilot Chat. They'll need a M365 Copilot license to use internal work data as a knowledge source. If you come across this in the future, the easy way to check is to see if they have the work/web toggle at the top of their Copilot chat.76Views0likes0CommentsRe: Useful Copilot features have disappeared from Outlook on the web
Yep, same. I'm going out on a limb and guessing it's because they're updating the embedded Copilot experience to allow 'free/chat' users to access Chat in apps too. Looks like this is live in Outlook now. Hopefully we see a fix come through.190Views0likes0Comments
