Hello Community,
I'm looking for help regarding a couple of messages I've seen when trying to access the Meeting Notes.
I experienced one of them during a meeting and the other was from another user in my environment. I'm able to access the meeting notes of other meetings though.
What are the requirements for accessing meeting notes?

I checked with another meeting participant and they are able to see the meeting notes while I still get that message "Sorry, you don't have access to notes for this meeting".

I'm finding the same thing - my coworkers can get to the notes, I cannot.
I've tested this with 3 meeting notes so far, and same result.

I've seen the same as well. Where is the meeting notes stored if the meeting is not a channel meeting?
OneDrive, Exhange ?

Any solution for this issue? We are facing the same problem randomly with lot of users. Meeting notes are there and not deleted and few users can access them but few cannot.

I found the meeting notes file stored as mht in OneDrive under the Microsoft Teams Data / Wiki folder.
The files have the appropriate permissions and shared with the other attendee of the meeting. the other person can access the mht file directly from onedrive just fine, however, it does not render the same way it does in Teams. Even though it has appropriate permissons, Teams still throws the error.

I've logged this case with Microsoft now. They are investigating now. Will update once I've some solution from them.

Adding my name to the list as we are experiencing this same issue and would like to leverage notes during meetings and have all members be able to view them.

I have the exact same issue. Let us know if anyone finds out how to fix it.

I went through the support ticket lifecycle with microsoft on this and we concluded that this was in my case due to some sort of service disruption at the time that these meetings were set up or the time when meeting notes were added to these meetings. I have not been able to reproduce the issue with any new meetings and the workaround for my users is to cancel the old meeting or meeting series and create a new meeting/series from scratch. The meeting notes is working for everyone after that.

Hi All,
Microsoft were able to identify and reproduce this issue in-house. Hopefully it would have been fixed by now. Please see below reply from Microsoft support

Hello Sir,
I hope you had a great day. I reproduced the issue on our end and we experienced a similar behaviour in the sense that some users couldn't even access notes button. We are still looking for a fix but at the moment it has been notified to Office 365 Engineers and there should be an available update in the near future."
One thing common in all affected meetings where meeting notes were not accessible to certain users was that these meetings were not scheduled and attended in a team channel and rather they were open meetings inviting users to attend without channel. The workaround for the moment is to create/schedule/attend the meetings inside a team channel and it works perfectly and meeting notes are accessible to all members of that Team.

Hello,
I have also seen the "sorry you don't have access to notes for this meeting" message. Any solution to it yet?

Hi Mattitas,
I'm not sure if Microsoft has finally resolved this bug/issue, but there is a workaround which we are using and it works.
Try to create meetings inside Team Channels and NOT open meetings inviting users. Meeting notes would be accessible to all the users in that Team and the meeting would be saved in the channel.
I hope this helps.
Kind Regards,

no, thats not solved yet.
My users experienced same today, - meeting created with teams (not in a channel), notes taken, one user added to the meeting after it finished and this user dont have access, - exactly same message as one above.
@Microsoft team, - could you have a look ?
