As noted we are in the middle of a migration from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2016. We are successfully migrating mailboxes and everything looks good. However, I have a few people that still use public folders.
I've found plenty of places that instruct on how to achieve this however I have questions regarding migrating public folders to the new server. Will the public folders be simply copied to the new server or will they be deleted from the old? And if they do exist on both servers will they be mirrored on the fly or will some sync be necessary to keep both databased updated?
I am asking this because I checked via Outlook and I can no longer see the public folders (my own mailbox has been migrated).
