Although my users are admins on their WVDs, I need the admin rights data on some folders to run applications or install tools.

Is there a trick in WVDs to give users the same rights as the local ?

Thank you

Solution

Hi
You have to log in the WVD VMs with a Domain Admin and add the users manually to the Local Administrators group. Right Click the Start Button > Click Computer Management > Click Local Users and Groups > Double click Groups in the right pane > Double click Administrators and click Add.

You can also try this one :  https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/7833.active-directory-gpo-to-make-a-doma...
