Anyone else having the issue? Seems to be since last nights update sounds have stopped working on the Desktop client at least. Haven't messed around with Mobile yet.

Ok, did some furthur digging with colleuges. Seems to be just the ALL sound setting isn't working like it used too. No longer do you get sounds for replies to conversations, etc. etc. Only sounds for mentions/chat/calls

Following up on this, we appear to be having similar issues in my organization. Notification sounds are gone or too low to be audible. Is there any way to customize the notification sounds, to allow us to choose a louder notification? Similar features exist in Outlook and Skype for Business, and the ability to choose the sound file for notifications is critically missing in Teams.

Any update on this? We just started using teams the last couple months and everyone loves the chat but misses the Team convo because the notifications are non-existent!

Anyone seeing a similar issue surface again in the last 24 hours? We have multiple Tenants on multiple clients reporting no audio alert for anything other than phone calls... Thank You

Yes, the sounds don't seem to be working any longer. What happened to Teams in the past week?? So many bugs suddenly showing up related to notifications (email, sounds, etc)

No sounds, no pop-ups anymore since yesterday 13/08/2018.

Still nothing today. Could you imagine if this happened with Slack? They wouldn't let this go on for over a week. I'm sending emails and Skype messages to ask people to look at Teams for messages they're missing. It's completely ridiculous.

No doubt they have. But is there even an acknowledgement or outage page for Teams? At least you can go to the Slack outage page and see that they're working on fixing something. And I'd take 1 day of knowing that there's no messaging capabilities over a week of wondering if people are even getting any notification of messages then following up with them in others ways to find out they're not and haven't seen anything that I've sent.
Aside from grumbling on here is there an official place to report issues when they arise?

That's because MS support is bad most of the time. You are barraged with emails saying nothing (hi, im so and so, looking forward to work with you). Then they insist on calling you and tell nothing important usually that can be done via email. Call quality is usually bad here and there is a delay. I'm not a native English speaker, most support folks either, so it is often hard to understand each other. Especially annoying is when they reply without a previous conversation. So i have to keep dozens of emails (which only have a ticket number in the title) to keep track of conversation and good luck having 2-3 tickets opened at the same time.

I voted on the top notifications issues from what I could tell. My whole company is complaining and frustrated about the changes. They aren't getting sound or banner notifications.

Following up on the MPN support comments above...
I also submitted this issue Monday via the Feedback/Report a Problem portion of the Teams Client. No Response.
Regarding Outage Page, the closest I know is the Teams "Known Issues" page but this issue is not on it.

Not a peep. My coworkers and I have also been suffering from crash loops, setting resets, and connection problems/unsent messages. Whatever MS did to Teams last weekend really borked it.

We started having this issue at the beginning of this week. I have been working with MS Support but they still haven't fix the issue. I have tried "Check for Updates" but it says I am at the current release.
Any ideas to try? Thank you, Tim

I've had the same issues and running the check for updates didn't work for me either. I went over to the MS Teams download page and re-downloaded the installer for Windows 7+ and ran the installer over my existing software. Ran a few tests in Teams and the sound appears to be working for now.

@vitaly-zdanevich I am having the same issue. I am on a Mac. I cannot get any sounds/alerts. If I miss the alert it goes away. I am wondering how to get the sounds and the badges working since its not in the system notifications section. I may try and reinstall as well.

@jmalat For me the notification sounds happen, but only on my headset. All other sounds, like Skype and Outlook notifications happen on my desktop speakers.
