Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

We love feedback!  It's how we create new products and make enhancements to existing products to fit what you need.  To make sure we capture all product feedback and have an opportunity to triage each item, we have set up a UserVoice site that is regularly monitored and we hope you'll share your product feedback for us there.

The community is a perfect place for discussion and sharing ideas - just make sure you share your feedback in UserVoice or use the in-product 'light bulb' button on the left hand bar  feedback.png and select "Share an idea".

If you've got any questions, please let us know.  Thanks!

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

We have Office 365 Business Premium but I cannot find how to enable Teams in the Admin Portal.

All your instructions tells me to go to Settings -> Services and Addins. But I only have Settings -> Apps.

Is there some new portal preview I should use?

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

I have access to the Services and Addins tab and it still isn't showing up, so most likely they have not turned it on yet.

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

It looks great! I just wonder: How are you positioning Microsoft Teams and channels in relation to Outlook Groups and Yammer Groups?

RE: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

External teams are not available

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

How will Microsoft Teams work with on-prem Lync 2013 SIP servers?

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

We dont have the add on under "Services & Add-ins", so, cant turn it on.

Do you have a timeframe on when this is rolling out?

RE: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

@Viktor Bergman - It is now live. Check it out under Services and Addins. Thanks!

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

@David Petree- now?  :)

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

it is not under Services and add-ins

I will jjust wait to see how long before it shows up

Re: RE: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

Awesome, this is SO much fun to be up and running =)

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

Try signing out and then sign in again, worked for me.

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

This is what worked for me as well, refresh didn't work.

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

Thanks Viktor

That worked

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

Is it possible to enable for first release users to get ready or does this immediately impact thousands of users.  How would teams pilot and explore during 1st release?

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

Like a lot of other people it has not shown up yet under Services and Add-Ins.  I have tried refreshing and signing in and out. Is there an ETA on when it should be live for everyone?  Or is there a subscription level that we need to be at to use it?

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

Hi @David Feldman - There are some great resources for you in getting started on Microsoft Teams, here: https://aka.ms/microsoft-teams-readiness

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

Never mind. It showed up.

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

How do I actually get TEAMS the app running?

I have already ebabled it in settings but where do I acccess the actual interface?

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

Same question here. Nothing in the release content actually tells you where to get the app.

RE: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

https://teams.microsoft.com/downloads for the clients and Teams doesn't require any existing Lync/SfB onPrem or online service.

Thanks

RE: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

@CARMINE POLIANDRO, visit teams.microsoft.com. You'll also be able to download the desktop client from there.

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

So, when you want to add or link a SharePoint site, the box pops up, and the "relevant sites" only show you the top 3 sites, there is no way to choose a different site, or scroll to find the site. You only have those 3 options. yes, i can use a link, but thats not the point.

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

Yep. MS are still ironing out that one. The SharePoint tab option is newish. I tried to link to a new library I created in the underlying Office 365 Group Team Site. It doesn't load that correctly yet. But the MS Teams devs are quick to respond - especially on launch day.

Re: Do you have product feedback for Microsoft Teams Engineering?

Hey Laurie,

Read everything up there but i'm missing how to segment out a portion of the population to explore teams without opening it up for the whole organization.  I think this is a key feature for organizations to study and plan beore opening to a large audiance but i'm missing how to accomplish it
