Posting this myself since I've heard this feedback multiple times from customers.  Termination of individual processes is useful when OTS (over-the-shoulder) elevation scenarios are being used.  (OTS scenario is where the LAPS password is used to launch an individual app via rite-click->RunAsAdministrator.)

Hi folks,

This ask is now a new feature in the latest Windows 11 Insider build:

Announcing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25905 | Windows Insider Blog

Look for the section titled "New PostAuthenticationAction support for terminating individual processes in Windows LAPS".   This new behavior is not yet covered in the public docs - I'll be adding that sometime later.

thanks,

Jay

@Jay Simmons Does this mean this new feature will not work with Windows 10?

Microsoft

Correct, the new feature will only be available in upcoming new versions of Windows.

@Jay Simmons Do you know in which release in the General Availability Channel this feature will be availablehttps://learn.microsoft.com/nl-nl/windows/release-health/windows11-release-information

Microsoft

Sorry I don't know that information.
