I have windows server 2022 and we use a business management app with ISAM database. A few times a day we have a desktop client that maxes the network pulling data from the smb share on the server for about a minute then stops. We are not able to determine which client is doing this.
I'm trying to setup performance monitor to start each morning on a schedule, but which counter will tell me network traffic by client? We have about 12 desktop computers that access this SMB share each day. In SMB Server Sessions, you can choose instance#, but the instance numbers change each day. I need to start the counters on a schedule, how can I make this work?
