Windows 12 doesn't exist yet
Hi everyone, There are discussions going on about Windows 12 and some websites even shared installation files and some leaks images and so on, I am posting this to make some clarifications: Windows 12 doesn't exists:as of the date I am posting this message, there is no operating system called Windows 12 and the latest version of Windows isWindows 11. Everything you read about Windows 12 is rumor and unofficial. Windows 12 installation files most likely are malware: Several users are looking for Windows 12 and this is a good way to attract users. There are number of downloads on the website claiming to be Windows 12 and either they have malware or they are pirate copy of Windows 11 and try to avoid using them and for the safety of other users report them to trusted party to remove them. If there is going to be a new version of Windows like Windows 12, Microsoft will share official announcements and you may see announcement onHome | Windows BlogorExperience the Power of Windows 11 OS, Computers, & Apps | Microsoft.28KViews1like11CommentsYou may ask your Windows related questions in Microsoft Answers forum
Hi everyone, This forum is more for discussion about Windows features and sharing ideas and concern and is not the best place to ask technical questions and request for support. While you may ask your questions and there are users who will help you but for quicker response and making sure you have access to more experts on resolving problem, you may ask your questions onMicrosoft Communityand selectWindowsorWindows Insider depending on your issue. Hi, There are discussion and feature request to have never combine taskbar in Windows 11. The good news is this feature is being roll out to Windows 11 insider Dev build but not all build will get it and you should wait for it to become available. When feature release to Dev build and works well, then it will release to Beta and finally , you will have this feature in the stable build. So, I hope everything goes well and soon we get this feature in future build of Windows. Hi all, As we all know manage and debug of JavaScript is a challenge. We don't have functionality in adding breaking points. It is case sensitive and small spell error or missing of braces cause errors. JavaScript is powerful but maintainability and security remains a great challenge. I believe a good recommended practice would be reduce using JavaScript as much as we can and focus more on turning on code into manageable functions. I would like to know your thoughts on this and what are best practices to maintain, manage and debug JavaScript in a .NET application?Possible Bug in Likes Leaderboard
Hi, I believe there are number of bugs in theLikes Leaderboardwhich isLikes Leaderboard - Microsoft Tech Community. It only shows one page, and we couldn't navigate to next page. The leadership is incorrect, for example someone with only 8 likes is number 5, 2 likes is number 7 and someone with over 3000 likes is number 8. Here is the example:1.6KViews2likes6CommentsShare Outcome of Feedbacks related to Microsoft Teams
There isMicrosoft Teams feedback portalwhere we could share feedbacks related to Microsoft Teams and it is successor of UserVoice. It would be nice if you could share statistic and status of feedbacks from the portal once in a while like show us what feedbacks already built into product and what are pending feedbacks, and this would motivate users to share feedbacks.Solved1.2KViews1like2CommentsCommunities that are not active
Hi, I am observing certain communities in this website are not active, there haven't been a discussion for a while or even if there is a post, then there is no response or response is only from other users and I believe no one from Microsoft monitoring them anymore. I am wondering is there any algorithm to check for such community and list down inactive community (e.g., based on last posts and engagement from Microsoft)? What is the future plan for such communities?1.3KViews0likes6CommentsIssue with "Could you help answer this?" Area
Hi, At the end ofMy Dashboard page, there is a section calledCould you help answer this?which I believe is helpful and give us chance to help another community user. However, I notice most of the time it shows reply from forums which I don't participate and also not in my follow list. I believe this section should show questions from forum I follow, and it would be better to show forums which I am active. For example, based on number of my reply and likes in other forums.405Views0likes0CommentsProblem Upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 Insider Dev Channel
