Re: [new blog post]: How to connect the Poly Rove IP DECT system to the Microsoft Teams SIP gateway
MOT-IT_ I was running 8.5.0002 with 12 handsets registered with MS teams. Now I had a requirement to add few more handsets to same B4 cluster, but I am unable to add any more, the new handsets are not getting SIP registration. I have contacted Poly, and they recommend upgrading FW to 8.10. Right now, I am not sure if this resolve the issue but will give it a try and see.426Views0likes0CommentsRe: Migrated Surface Hub 2S to MTRoW - 3 things I don’t like
Just to share what I did so far trying to resolve the External monitor issue a. With Win11, Surface hub supposed to work like MTR device. So tried enable Extended monitor setting using XML configuration file just like MTR device. b. Tried enabling "dual screen' mode on Teams Admin center and MTR pro portal (note that after device reboot, the setting seems revert back to single display mode c. Tried setting up "duplicate" monitor in Windows (admin) side. Nothing is working so far. I have scheduled a troubleshooting session with Microsoft on this Friday, hope that we can move ahead with a resolution. Failing which I may have to go back to Windows 10 version, just because projecting over to external ( big screen) is must for our rooms.2.5KViews2likes3CommentsRe: Migrated Surface Hub 2S to MTRoW - 3 things I don’t like
In my case we have Surface hub 2S with 50" screens. We were projecting the Surface hub screen over to big projector using HDMI out. After Win11 MTRoW update, HDMI out does not work as well which is huge problem for us, and the Surface hub screen way too small for our rooms. ( I also found that when you go to Windows admin side, HDMI works perfectly fine, so this does looks like MTR app is not capable of handling second monitor via HDMI. I also tried configuring extended monitor using xml file assuming this work as a normal MTR, but there is no luck with that either). I have currently opened a case with Microsoft, hope they can give us a solution.2.6KViews2likes5CommentsRe: [new blog post]: How to connect the Poly Rove IP DECT system to the Microsoft Teams SIP gateway
Hi, After working with Poly support, they have developed a fix (8.0.4.0004)and shared with me. But I do not have local server in this particular (restricted) network to update it. I opted to wait till Poly officially release 8.0.5, now I heard delayed till end of Feb. HiSteffenBaier, it is good to hear that even with the fix there are issues if >14 handsets. We may be OK for now as we have approx. 13 handsets for now. But it will grow in the near future. Thanks ! - Nick.7.6KViews1like8CommentsRe: [new blog post]: How to connect the Poly Rove IP DECT system to the Microsoft Teams SIP gateway
Thank oy for the great article ! I was able to connect up to 9 handsets and resister with Teams successfully. T noticed that 10th handset is not getting "SP service Profile" attached to it automatically just like to handsets 1-9 did. Not sure whether this is a limitation, I have opened a case with Poly but they are slow to respond.8.4KViews2likes12CommentsRe: Teams Live Event multiple presenters
I Initially has similar confusions but now it came clear after conducting several events. To make it clear; a. There is only one queue for the presentation ( content) for the whole meeting. b. Once someone ( it can be any producer or any presenter in the meeting) starts sharing his/her screen or application, it is visible for any producer to select. c. Once the producer select a layout that contain the "content" ( this can be either full-screen content OR dual-layout with one presenter video + content side-by side by side) and then producer sent it LIVE. d. Once the content is up in the LIVE, any OTHER producer OR presenter can start sharing his content, then that LIVE contend will TAKE OVER immediately without any intervention for producer. Hope this is clear...59KViews0likes0Comments

Re: Introducing new touch and collaboration experiences on Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android
As of now MTR on Windows can initiate a whiteboard after starting ad-hoc meeting. But the whiteboard file will not be able to share later on with anyone. Only workaround seems to be to to start a mee...0likes0Comments
