Meta data in combination with a template
I make use of page templates per site collection. One for news and another for a new page. We use communication sites in a Hub. For a new project metadata from the Termstore is used. In the sitepage library, of the site in question, I added an extra column with metadata. When I make a newspost with the template of that site collection, the metadata labels are not shown. It’s not a question of time, the labels are still not shown. When I make a new template for this site-collection, the metadata labels can be seen. Is this a bug?iPad search can't find Groups
If I do a search for a group, in my iPad App, in the tab Shared Libraries. No results are returned from any group. If I search for a specific group with the exact name, even than is there no result. A message is displayed (translated by me from Dutch) "Your search did not give any results. It may take a few minutes" If I do a search for a Team, same results. - Is this a known problem - Is there a work around for this. The SharePoint app also not returns the desired groups (orTeams) - Is there admin adjustment for this.Delete Team
Hi It already happened twice that a user (Teacher) deleted a Team. I Think it's because of the place where you can do it. In more options ... you can leave a Team and delete it. Maybe it's the translation (Dutch, "Het Team verlaten" or "Het Team verwijderen") that a user don't understand the difference between the two possibilities. My suggestion would be to place the "delete Team" in "Settings" UX wise. So the "normal" user can't delete a Team as easy as it is right now.Re: Delete from chanel list
Marc Mroz Thanks for your answer. The point is indeed that the channel Companywide is and everybody can see this. But as in YouTube, I can make a playlist, but you can't remove the videos from it. My/ our interpretation of a channel is the same as YT. I think a channel must be personal and not editable. The community driven part can then be kept as is, you can make you own channel from all of the videos in Stream.Delete from chanel list
Hi Situation. - collaborator/teacher - can make channels and upload videos - Student - can't upload and make channels. As student you can see the channels. In a channel (public) you can see the stats, uploader, publish date, actions. In "actions", a student can remove the video from the channel. This results in a missing video in the original list. Is this a known "problem" Or are my settings not oke.OneNote Slow
Hi We have a OneNote what's used by students. the OneNote is stationed on a Sharpoint site. we encounter slow acces to the OneNote. We copied the sections into a new OneNote. This seems to help in speed. - is this a familiar problem? - is it a chache problem - There are no direct Word or PDF files couppled. They are on the SP site.
