SharePoint SE: Dropdown menu navigation not available
Dear all, in SharePoint 2016 OnPrem it was possible to use dropdown menus in the horizontal navigation bar. In SharePoint SE I do not find an option for this. There isn't even an Edit button for the horizontal navigation. How can we do this? e.g. in 2016 we had the following structure: Site Collection for an Institution: sharepoint.<institution>.de => Home sharepoint.<institution>.de/projects sharepoint.<institution>.de/projects/project-a sharepoint.<institution>.de/projects/project-b ...etc. sharepoint.<institution>.de/administration sharepoint.<institution>.de/administration/department-a sharepoint.<institution>.de/administration/department-b ...etc. In the horizontal navigation we had the buttons from left to right: Home (lead to the home page of the site collection -> also missing, not available any more, home leads now to "Projects" or "Administration" but there is no Home button that leads to the real home site of the site collection) Projects (-> dropdown button, following a list for all project subsites) Administration (-> dropdown button, following a list for all project subsites) The dropdown menus were automatically created when we created a new subsite, this does not happen any more. => All of this seems not to exist in SharePoint SE or don't we find it?176Views0likes0CommentsRe: No Outlook calendar Teams invitation possible after upgrade to Teams 2.0
Matthew_Klonizchii : - The Teams Add-in was enabled in Outlook when the error occurred - Uninstalling Teams 2.0 + 1.0, delöeting the cache, downloading Teams 1.0 and reinstalling it "solved" the problem -> but it works only under Teams 1.0, if you switch to 2.0, the error is back again Best, Matthias7.7KViews0likes0CommentsNo Outlook calendar Teams invitation possible after upgrade to Teams 2.0
Dear all, we have our own tenant for MS Teams and since the update to Teams 2.0 from 1.0, users of Microsoft Outlook have problems with the Teams Add-in: 1. Problem 1: New invitiations to Teams meetings are not possible. When you create a new calendar entry and click on "Teams Meeting", nothing happens, the usual "Teams block" including a link to the Teams meeting doesn not appear, the decription field of the calendar entry will stay empty. 2. Problem 2: Existing Teams meeting cannot be changed. If you try to change an existing Teams meeting, that has been successfully create before the upgrade to Teams 2.0, e.g. you try to change date/time and click on "Send update", you get the error message "To schedula a Teams meeting, make sure you're signed in to Teams". Everyhting elese is wokring for the users, they can start Teams 2.0 (or switch back to 1.0) and use any other function in the Teams client. We have Exchange OnPrem and no ExchangeHybrid. Under Teams 1.0 everyhting worked fine including Microsoft Outlook. Windows 10 and Office 2016 are on the latest patch level, the Teams Add-in is registered and active in Outlook, we also tried to reinstall Teams, delte the Teams cache, re-register the TeamsAddin-DLL. Any idea?8.2KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Microsoft Stream in Teams: Create group not available in menu bar
Found the solution: Azure AD Admin Center -> Azure Active Directory -> Groups -> General -> Microsoft 365 Groups -> Users can create Microsoft 356 groups in Azure portals, API or PowerShell: Yes. Buttonw as set to No, but do not ask me why, I did not change this setting and for about 1,5-2 years, the users were able to do so and since a few week they were not. After changing to yes, everything works.Microsoft Stream in Teams: Create group not available in menu bar
Dear all, until now in our M365 tenant it was possible for our staff members to create new groups in Microsoft Stream. Now users who were able to do this before, do not see Create -> Group in the menu bar any more. As tenant admin I still can see Create -> Group. What has changed? What are the necessary permissions for users to be able to do this? Best, MSolvedMicrosoft Stream in Teams Create group not available in menu bar
