Invite guests to Viva Engage Community
I am looking into using Viva Engage but it is a deal breaker for us that guests with non-microsoft accounts cannot be added. It looks like the old Yammer used to allow external users to join? but the new Viva Engage does not? I have read articles about the new B2B guest framework https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/engage/work-with-external-users/collaborate-guests-external-viva-engage-community What I am trying to achieve though is allowing personal accounts, gmail, hotmail, etc Our use case is that we have a company community, but would like to invite a small number of guests into our community prior to them joining our team to give them a feel for how the business operates. I would be happy to assign purchase and assign licenses, but there is no easy way for non Office365 admins to do so. It would also cause friction to ask a new person that is not part of our business to use a new MS email account. Ideally this is how I would see it working Just allow guests to join with personal accounts. Community admins can just type in their email and invite them. We could have a pool of available Viva Engage licences. Community admins can invite a guest via their personal email address and assign an available licence.SolvedRe: Unable to share Lists between users in same organizatoin
Hi Chakresh633, Thanks so much for coming back to me. Forgive me for being a little cautious. Your user profile was only created yesterday and has no posts or replies except for this one. So I'm not comfortable with sending IDs etc to you. If you are a MS engineer, could you please review my open tickets and respond through that channel instead?: 2310260030004984 2311150030000001 2311200030005948430Views0likes0CommentsUnable to share Lists between users in same organizatoin
We are unable to share lists between users. I understand that recent changes have put a stop to sharing between personal and work accounts, but it seems the same restrictions are in place for users in the same organization. I have tried to open a MS Support case but it was closed without any attention. Any suggestions or comments from a MS Rep would be appreciated.526Views0likes2CommentsRe: Webinars - registration page doesn't match meeting time
David Phillips This still looks to be a problem in September 2023. I am finding the following. * The dates on the registration page are not updated if you change the event date. * The dates are shown on the registration page in MM/DD/YYYY format instead of DD/MM/YYYY. It doesn't look like these issues are a high priority at all.597Views0likes0Comments
