After configuring IE mode, certain websites, especially those sites that create a new window or a site that gets redirected may not render in IE mode or open in Internet Explorer 11. For this kind of redirected website, you can make use of the allow-redirect="true" in the site list configuration. Setting this attribute to "true" indicates that the site will open in IE11 or Microsoft Edge even if the site is navigated to as part of a HTTP or meta refresh redirection chain. Omitting the attribute is equivalent to "false" (sites in redirect chain will not open in another browser).
