The problem you're having appears to be a bug caused by an update. The latest version of WSL is 2.1.5.0. If you are not running this version then enter wsl --update in PowerShell. oceanofgadgets9028 It appears you're referring to a Notebook/Laptop? On a Windows 11 PC, Action Centre no longer exists and none of the settings you mention (apparently) do either. To adjust screen brightness on any desktop using a SmartTV simply adjust using the remote. ItsWindows_Duh Such ingnorant posts I tend to ignore but your un-called-for beligerence meant I could not resist. My suggestion, if you are able to and paying attention to the article date, is to read the article (link below) carefully and then contact ALL 8 contributors and let them know they are all wrong. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/install#install-wsl-command wsl --install This command will enable the features necessary to run WSL and install the Ubuntu distribution of Linux.
