I agree with Star_D that there should be an actual number type question, instead of text with numerical restrictions. My use case has about 40 columns of primarily numerical data, once the form responses reach Excel, plus some automatically calculated columns, which work ok with some forced type conversions in the calculations. I don't see changing to Power Automate to fix the forced text format problem at this point - we've accumulated about 10,000 rows of manual form entries at this point and we have people looking at visualizations of the Excel data live in a connected Power BI report. It's a living process that I'd prefer to avoid interrupting. I created a separate worksheet in the Excel workbook to perform some statistical analysis on the table columns - to help see central tendencies, outliers and distribution of raw responses. My calculated columns are all forced numeric, so stats on those are not a problem. But the only thing I have to touch periodically which isn't automated is the type corrections on the raw data, so that all the numbers will be included in the statistical/aggregate functions (which ignore numbers formatted as text). Because some entries are optional depending on branching, I can't do a simple forced conversion on the whole table like paste add zero or paste multiply by 1. I suppose I could create additional "preprocessed" columns where the only math performed was logical (if <>"") type conversion, and then run statistics on those. I have deployed a form and have received over 6000 responses with no major technical issues - until now. One of the users completes the form fields, gets to the end and hits the submit button, and it just takes him back to the start of the form. I reviewed all of his responses over the phone, and they are all within the limits set in the restrictions for the individual questions. He's seeing an infinite loop with no way out. Others continue to submit their forms without incident. Additionally, I sent him a link to a totally different form, and when he clicked on that, it just opened the other form, from which he can't escape. He's tried a few things based on other suggestions (clearing cache, closing browser, turning off and restarting phone), but nothing so far has provided him with an off ramp from this freeway to nowhere. When the form returns to the start, all his previous answers are still there, and he doesn't see any validation errors. I've asked him to try using the form on his PC to see if the issue is related to the device or to his authentication credentials, but we're really grasping at straws here. Does anyone have a systematic approach for getting to the root cause of this issue or at least terminating the problem? I'm wondering if he did something different with the branching the first time through, and there is an entry error in one of the fields that is now hidden. benwashere I'm trying to do some (dynamic) statistical analysis on the numbers entered, and the only values that are included are the ones we've manually corrected (because those ARE numbers, but the unedited numbers are all stored as text and therefore ignored by min/max/average etc.). Very frustrating. I have null values that I don't want to convert into zeroes using forced type conversion on every cell. The auto scroll feature is horrible and I can't find a way to turn it off. While I'm trying to edit the transcript, the text in the window keeps jumping around and I keep having to relocate the place where I want the edit cursor. A huge waste of time to do this with almost every edit. I can read the transcript without a problem, but as soon as I go into edit mode, the software thinks I want to hear the audio and sync the transcript text window center with the playback speed. I want to be able to move up and down through the transcript at whatever speed I like. How do I enable that? Using Version 1.0.2185.8 on a Windows 10 desktop.
