Re: Failure to install update error: 0x80070643 @allmembers
Yes, I "followed the steps in the article one by one." Regardless, using simple math, 558 is greater than 522. This is messed up. The "solution" is very narrowly focused, and as you can see - I previously had TWO WinRe partitions - now I have one, with 500MB unallocated.133KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Failure to install update error: 0x80070643 @allmembers
JohanLeo I tried nonstop to increase the partition, but it still fails. Unsure why - but I think it's the ORDER (place) in which the WinRE partition lives. The instructions do not work for all. I'm worried if I do any more, I'll damage my drive map/boot record.136KViews1like4CommentsOneNote Mac 16.68 - CANNOT paste images
I've literally banged my head against my computer over this. It is 100% a bug. OneNote 16.68 (22111600) is throwing the error "Sorry, we couldn't paste the content from your clipboard. Please try copying and pasting it again." when I try to paste an image. Text works fine. Solution - install OneNote 16.67 (which requires manually removing the new version). For the MSFT "Community Specialists" and others paid by the nonsense post: - I cleared all OneNote files - nothing. - Tried to close a notebook - CORRUPTED the notebook (this was great).2KViews0likes3CommentsOutlook will not update to 16.68 (all other Office apps do)
This is driving me nuts. I've removed, cleaned, reinstalled. Situation: Office apps - Word, Excel, PPT - will update to 16.68. Even Teams and Edge are okay. HOWEVER, Outlook will not (it only goes to 16.66, and I have to manually download/install 16.66_2), and 16.68 NEVER shows up. On another Mac? No problem. (note - this troubled Mac is running Ventura - is there a compatibility issue w/ Outlook sync and Ventura?) oh, and the new Microsoft Forums are BROKEN. "Post flooding" when I NEVER POSTED ANYTHING2.7KViews1like2CommentsRe: Post flooding error
This happened AGAIN. The same issue - same exact concept - and it is infuriating. The "solution" is exit browser and re-enter. This isn't a "solution". Microsoft's security AI - like the same === used for "blocking" (or not) the billions of Hotmail/outlook spam I get - is ===. Vasu Jakkal should be ashamed.4.7KViews1like1CommentRe: Post flooding error
it was a bug. Saved the post > asked me to reload or ignore > did it again and again > I gave up and exited and came back in and re-posted. Funny enough, using the saved one. Oh, and having worked with "AI" (neural networks now neocortex) for over 30 years... dude. "If it's written in Python, it's Machine Learning; if it's written in PowerPoint, it must be Microsoft AI..."4.9KViews1like3CommentsRe: Outlook will not update to 16.68 (all other Office apps do)
robmilk it appears to work okay on my 2018 MBP 15"... literally will not even show on my 2019 MBP 15". (both Intel processors; same account; the only diff is that the 2019 has an Exchange or Enterprise Gmail account but... that wouldn't block the update, I don't think?)2.6KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Teams - Tenant drop-down missing on the account I was invited with
nikkle This is a BUG. I accepted an invite from my kid's school (yes, now using Teams for real life remote learning). After adding email addresses, removing them, removing Teams on Mac... I realized I can ONLY switch from one direction to another: >> I can only show it in a browser, since I've lost the ability to switch in the app Note the org switch is missing here:14KViews0likes0Comments
