Hi, Microsoft just announce at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/goals/goals-retirement that Viva Goals ending in December 2025. How do you feel about this announcement? It was one of the top business use cases with significant business value in Viva Suite after Viva Topics deprecation.Correct Language and Regional Settings for Office 365
If company starting with Office 365, they want to set language and regional settings to suit their environment. For example, a company in the Czech Republic, but with branches around the world want to use primary English language for some, Czech for some, and some others. There are a lot of regional settings and language options around Office 365 services. Some can be changed for the whole tenant, some cannot. Some work automatically by user choice or as set by IT, some works with browser language, some with region location from Windows. I want to make the list of them and publish clear table to TechNet Wiki. Do you help with this task? Thanks! There are a couple of things which are clear and works fine. For example: We start with tenant created in the Czech Republic. This set default language to Czech for tenant and display regional to Czech (24-hour format and correct time zone). This can be changed. But for example, e-mail notification about new user account creation came always in Czech even after the change to English in the tenant. SharePoint primary language is Czech, others can be added to default. But Office 365 Groups are created with English regional settings and time zone in the US. OneDrive for Business is created also in US timezone. And the user cannot change that. But admin can create sites for users with correct settings. But special folders names are created like "Dokumenty" and does not change to "Documents" after the change. Planner and Office 365 Admin Center show language which user setup in their profile and this can be different from default Czech. But Planner also uses browser language and can switch to a different language sometimes. So, create and define multinational organizations with correct language options and regional options are hard and differ on each initial setup.Network Test to support Real-Time Co-Authoring in Office
Hi, are there some network planning considerations for best performance of Real-Time Co-Authoring in Office suite? We had a customer with really terrible and slow performance of coauthoring in Word on LAN connection. A lot of "keep server version" errors came out for users. But after switch to public internet connection or even local Wi-Fi everything working fine and fast. We examine network and run classic connection and quality tests for other Office 365 services, but they seems be fine.SafeLinks Site SSL Certificate Expired

I hope that also someone from Microsoft right now reading this forum. 😉 I really like SafeLinks feature, but someone from Microsoft just forgot to renew wildcard certificate for safelinks.protection.outlook.com. So everyone right now clicking links in Outlook and OWA gets an error that Microsoft site is not secure (at least at properly configured internet browser). We have set up security alerts in Office 365 for some events like privilege escalations. The notification coming. But from December they get delayed. Sometimes hours, sometimes days, but now we receive events even after more than 10 days of the time when activity occurs. Does someone sees the same? Hi, does someone has contacts with Smart Screen Filter service team which is used by EOP ATP? We recently were engaged with customer query how it gets updated? They reported phishing to Exchange EOP, Smart Screen Filter by all targeted URL with fake Office 365 sign-in page and even after four hours nothing happens. Google Safe Browsing, Fortinet, Symantec, other providers have the threat vector URLs in block lists, but Microsoft currently not. Hi, seems that preparation script for migration from Video to Stream does not support state when Modern Auth is enforced for GA account who run the script. Hi, seems that the upgrade experience is somehow broken if user using Edge and not Google Chrome with preferred locale different from English. For example, the migration was completed, but the date cannot be set, because "Edit the date below to go live sooner or any time before Invalid date at Invalid date(UTC)" and like "NaN days you can review...". If you switch to English language in browser, magic happens and it correctly show the dates for go live.
