Shared Contacts in New Outlook - not possible/functional
Hi, Does anyone have any additional information about the status on the ability to share contacts in the New Outlook? We have shared corporate contacts in a Public Folder and are unable to access them (I opened a support ticket and this is apparently by design...for now) so my only option is the old Outlook or Outlook for the web. As an alternative we looked into setting up a generic account, housing the contacts there and sharing them but this also doesn't function. The web version is not a viable alternative and the Old Outlook is getting so glitchy and has a fraction of the CoPilot functionality.339Views1like0CommentsRe: Public Folders in New Outlook
EllaNunez19 This is exactly how we use the public folders. We have shared contacts that include things like clients and suppliers that we all need access to. Julian12 we're not getting an error message but since the most recent Office 365 update PowerPoint has been crashing regularly especially when co-authoring. I'm having the same issue. We have an "articles and inspiration" channel in each of our teams. If I search that only 2 of the teams channels are coming up and there should be 5 of them. I've had other users search and they are having similar results. PriyankaChhikara I'm having the same issue, it's now late october and nowhere is there an option to add shortcut to my onedrive when someone external shares a folder with me. adam deltinger Hi you mentioned adding from cloud storage on the files tab in Teams. I have added a Document Libaries Tab and from Files added Document Libraries there but is it possible to add an actual file from another SharePoint site within the same organization? If I upload, it copies the file to the SharePoint for that Team which is essentially duplicating the file. StephenRice I've had this happen a few times. It's all internal, people within our organization. The link is to a file directly but it has also happened to a shared folder in OneDrive. The complication is if it is sent to 10 people it may for for 9 of them. There is no consistency when it works or who it works for. We are not multi-geo. All within the Greater Toronto Area but working from home during quarantine.58KViews0likes23Comments
