Re: How to set an organization wide setting to automatically download pictures from a trusted sender.
Thanks for the reply. As you've suggested the sending address is in Exchange is it is the address of an internal shared mailbox. However that email address is being intentionally spoofed as the sender by a vendor for a product we own. So it looks like it's from the internal address but it is not. So I think that I should use the real senders email address or at least domain, right? After running this command, should I expect any change in existing emails in my mailbox, or only in new ones? Also, is there a delay in how long after running the script before I should see results? And do I need to restart my outlook? I'm trying to get this to work with just my own mailbox before I think about applying to the whole tenant.105Views0likes0CommentsRe: How to set an organization wide setting to automatically download pictures from a trusted sender.
I first tried to run the command on a single mailbox like this: When using a command such as this: set-MailboxJunkEmailConfiguration -Identity "xxxx@domain" -TrustedSendersAndDomains @{Add="yyyy@domain"} I consistently get this error: Set-MailboxJunkEmailConfiguration: ||Property validation failed: TrustedSendersAndDomains286Views0likes2CommentsRe: How to set an organization wide setting to automatically download pictures from a trusted sender.

In SharePoint online, when you create a Communication Site, one of the out-of-the-box features is a an Event list. This list doesn't have the modern look as compared to other features in SharePoint. Does anyone happen to have any insights into the future of Events in SharePoint sites? Do you think they will be modernized at some point? Or are they going away?726Views0likes2CommentsUsing @mention in comments on News Posts intermittently fails
On multiple SharePoint online sites, when adding people (internal to our tenant) to the comment on a news post, we will intermittently get the error "(User name) does not have permission to this page, so will not be notified about your comment." We can re-enter the same exact user and then it works. This is happening on more than one SharePoint site, to multiple employees who try to comment and @mention and the error intermittently pops up for different user names selected to @mention. Here's a screen shot of the comment box where I'm tagging users and user Misty is reported as not having permission. (All employees have permission). I can add her name again and it might work: Is anyone else seeing this behavior?659Views0likes0CommentsRe: Feasibility - For multiple users, update a SharePoint list when they update a calendar
Well hello Jonathan! Thanks for the reply. Yeah I could think of anything except for a per user flow. So for your option to create a shared calendar - can you say a little more? Are you talking about from Outlook Calendar, an individual creates a new blank calendar and shares it? or are you talking about creating something in the tenant, like a Team or shared mailbox?Feasibility - For multiple users, update a SharePoint list when they update a calendar
We would like to have a SharePoint list that shows all people who are out of the office for the day. Creating a list that people manually add to and update is simple. But what if we want the list to auto-populate and update coinciding with the addition or change for the any of the people's calendars? So for example, for a department, if anyone of the employees creates something on their calendar with a status of "Out of Office," then automatically create an entry in the SharePoint list. Then if that employee modified the same item on their calendar, we would want to update the corresponding item in the SharePoint list. Is this possible/feasible?SolvedRe: New Outlook opens security hole
Here's a request I made on Microsoft's feedback portal to request that they add the capability to the new Outlook to prevent users from adding mailboxes outside the current company tenant. For all users in our company, do we have an option to set the Calendar Permissions for Outlook so that the whole organization "Can view titles and locations?" I've found the following powershell command which I believe will set it for the specified user: Set-MailboxFolderPermission email address removed for privacy reasons:\calendar –User Default –AccessRights LimitedDetails But I believe this does not prevent the user from resetting the calendar viewing permissions. Is there a way to set this for everyone in our organization and prevent them from changing it?3.8KViews0likes1CommentRe: Cannot export Wiki from Teams to OneNote
Per the Message Center update in the M365 Admin Center, we should have the ability to export Wiki's to OneNote as of early March 2023. It states "Stage 1 – (Timeline – early March 2023) Users won't be able to create new wikis, but they can continue to access (read/write) their existing wiki. Users also have the option to export their content to OneNote. Once users export their content to OneNote, the Wiki is available as read only." If our users are going to have to export one Wikis one by one, the sooner we have that access the better. We still do not see this option in our tenant. The animation ran so fast and I couldn't slow it down to understand what was supposed to happen. This was listed as being complete in March. I just thought that 7 days into April it would be done. Thank you, I appreciate your clarification.6.4KViews1like0CommentsCannot export Wiki from Teams to OneNote
Microsoft has announced that they are going to disable Wikis in Teams and suggest that people use OneNote instead. These instructions (https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/office/export-a-wiki-to-a-onenote-notebook-8cd8ab0c-2314-42b0-a1d0-5c6c4c5e1547) state that you can export a Teams Wiki to OneNote. The instructions indicate that from the Wiki tab in Teams, I should select Get Details and Export to Notes. I don't have those options. When I select the tab that has the wiki, my options are Expand tab, reload tab, copy link to tab, rename, about this tab, remove. What do other people have?Solved6.5KViews1like9CommentsApprovals app in MS Teams - conflicting info on requirements
When I look at the description for MS Teams app called "Approvals" in the app itself, it states that "The hub for your approvals across all systems that you create, manage, and share. Get things done quickly with the ability to review and take action right in Microsoft Teams. To use this app, you need to have an F3 license or above. Contact your admin if you're unable to use the app." But when I look at this article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/approval-admin it doesn't mention that under requirements. We have E3 licenses. I'm trying to determine if the Approvals app is something we are licensed to use.922Views0likes0Comments
