Re: Unable to login to MS Defender on iOS
An update on this. I traced it to be somewhat dependent on having a Microsoft account and an EntraID account being the same (i.e. personal and corporate accounts on one email). This seemed to manifest itself when I had both the personal and corporate app also in my MS authenticator on my iDevice. However, of late I have not seen these issues, which may also indicate an update in the actual Defender App overtime has also solved this issue. So, whatever happened, my issues are no longer present.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Web Filtering Problem
Deleted per the documentation Known issues and limitations Network protection does not currently support SSL inspection, which might result in some sites being allowed by web content filtering that would normally be blocked. Sites would be allowed due to a lack of visibility into encrypted traffic after the TLS handshake has taken place and an inability to parse certain redirects. This includes redirections from some web-based mail login pages to the mailbox page. As an accepted workaround, you can create a custom block indicator for the login page to ensure no users are able to access the site. Keep in mind, this might block their access to other services associated with the same website.11KViews1like2CommentsUnable to login to MS Defender on iOS
I have an iPhone (latest software version) connected to an M365 tenant (i.e. licensed for Defender). Recently, the MS Defender app on the device won't login using my Azure AD credentials. It displays the account, allows me to select it, says "Getting ready", spins, and then asked me to buy a subscription. I also have an iPad mini and everything there works fine (aka same tenant, same user). i have uninstalled Defender app, reinstalled. I have synced my device settings using Company portal and that is fine. Any suggestions on what to try next?Solved3KViews0likes3CommentsHow long is litigation hold data retain after license downgrade?
Looking for guidance on how long any litigation hold data is retained after a license downgrade. Case 1: For example, mailbox has O365E3 assigned with litigation hold enabled for months. Mailbox has license downgraded from O365E3 to say Business Basic, which means no more Litigation hold. Any existing litigation hold data retained via the original O365 E3 license is removed immediately? After 30 days? Case 2: Are there any differences to the above case in the event of moving from O365 E3 to a shared mailbox? Again, what happens to any pre-existing litigation hold data? Removed immediately? After 30 days? Love if there are some links that cover this situation I can share with people.Solved7.5KViews0likes10CommentsRe: Alerting to elevated Privilege without PIM
You would need to use something like Power Automate or implement Defender for Cloud Apps or Sentinel to detect and report this. You could also probably use the standard admin alert settings for "Elevation of Exchange admin privilege" to let you know they have become a full global admin.709Views0likes0CommentsRe: M365 licensing with shared account
Shared Computer activation (usage) requires M365 Business Premium, E3 or E5. Check the M365 Service descriptions for full details - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/servicedescriptions/office-365-platform-service-description/office-365-plan-options In short Office is licensed PER USER, not PER DEVICE. If you want Office per Device licensing you'll need to go EA. If you plan to allow multiple users access on a single machine they each must have M365 BP, E3 or E5 assigned to them to allow shared computer access.5.9KViews0likes0CommentsRe: your microsoft exchange administrator has blocked the version of outlook that you are using contact
MS sets the rules of the road here and that comes with limits on the age of vehicles. 2013 is about 10 years old now. In technology terms a lot has changed in that time and building on an old base isn’t a good approach for a modern world to achieve optimal outcomes.73KViews0likes0CommentsRe: your microsoft exchange administrator has blocked the version of outlook that you are using contact
However, your older car will probably fail annual inspection and not be allowed to participate on the road with other drivers if it's safety features don't meet contemporary levels.73KViews0likes2Comments
