Re: Notifications on comments on SharePoint list
Great to see this is implemented now. Kudos !! to the team. I love the way the email notification goes out to the @mentioned person. Small suggestion : ( hope relevant team reads this feedback) The current solution unlocks the "item" to enable to comment for the @mentioned person. Sometime we don't want this unlocked. Will let them edit/modify information for that item. If it's possible to unlock just the comment field, that would be great. Thanks26KViews1like2CommentsHoles every where
When a manager Creates a Plan, creates a task force of all the team memebers by adding their email addresses. Next, creates several tasks and starts assigning them to the members. Manager hopes everything works well, unfortunately there are several HOLES in this so called Planner. 1. Members can simply delete the tasks 2. Members can add new assignments to different users and remove themselves from the assignment 3. Members can simply leave the plan 4. This is Hilarious. ***Members can assign tasks to their Managers*** 5. Please see picture attached. I search for the contents from the blue column in the red search box. No results. For example : ML002 I get no results. But if I try words from other columns, I get the results showing the related items. What could be wrong with the blue column? Why no results? All, I have a group that is not allowed to write to a list. They can only read. Now, I have created a new column. I would like that group to write data to that column only. This is silly. I thought so I edit and click remove. But I am worried that if that goes away permanently. Like I said I want this to be available for some people to add data to library. Hi See attached. The Green circled is a list . The red circle is a library. Not sure how to ask, let me try. Right now since it’s there, if people click can see contents. 1. I want the library to be not listed there. So people can see only just red circled list. Or better yet hide the entire bar home, documents, pages etc to be not available for people to click. 2. Hi All, I my SharePoint list, I have a document library. While i can see the SharePoint list, on the top row of icons, I can see in the document library. I store few final drawings in this library. Is there a way I can hide the document library from the top row. I still need to access the library, I don’t want it to show on the side panel either. If I want to access, I can go to site contents and access the library. I need to know if there is a way to remove from list page. Possible? Please help. Yes I do that. That’s a great with around. But there are times when I don’t initiate the call. That’s when the problem is. In this case I have to receive the 1-on-1 call. If I take it in phone and then later join again on computer would Be great.1KViews0likes0Comments
