Re: is there away to disable reactions to emails
I had a case open with Microsoft and no, there is no way to stop this. They shoehorned in this stupid feature, and the only way to stop those emails is by making a rule. That's right, no-reply emails, ticketing system emails, they all get a stupid digest of reactions that nobody ever asked for It is unreal that we pay an absolute arm and a leg for this service and stuff like this is allowed to fly.31KViews4likes4CommentsRe: Nesting Groups
AwesomeAnand Just an FYI to anyone here The fact that you can't nest, or nest into, 365 groups is ridiculous but you can work around using powershell, either in Azure automation or even in your on-prem AD server. Create a script that collects members of desired "nested group" (security group, distribution list, AD synced group etc) and then adds any that are missing to the "nest group" (365 dynamic or static group). Or vice versa as was described already. I for one don't like having a bunch of automated processes to accomplish a simple task, but that is where we are at the moment I wish it was possible out of the box, people nest groups in AD all the time serving dual purpose as both ACL security groups and distribution lists. If you are well organized this works great. Now we are forced to duplicate groups and create slew of new management tasks. The fact that so much of 365 is actually good stuff makes shortcomings like this even more frustrating. It's like buying a Snickers bar with only a couple peanuts in it. Sure you got the chocolate and stuff but you really want the crunch as well5.4KViews0likes1CommentRe: Now Available: Windows Admin Center 1910.2 Insider Preview
Prasidh_Arora I can confirm with 1910.2 we had those 4 same errors across the board, with tools missing from the left pane and limited functionality. I uninstalled that and reinstalled 1910, setup the same way, and no issues at all!4.4KViews0likes0CommentsEdge "configure favorites" GPO
Hi I am noticing the GP "Configure Favorites" doesn't work as a user policy. It does apply at the computer level. Tested using a working value, managed favorites folder and links appear if it's applied at the computer GPO but not at the user level. I'd like to provide different favorites for different GPOs so applying at the user level would be handy.Solved7.1KViews0likes5Comments
