User Audit Logs - Compromised Computer Help
Hello- I had a user MS credentials used to login remotely. Account is stable now but as I go through logs for the time, I believe the user gave up their password. We fond in the user audit log a modified permission. Does anyone know what change was made here and why in the modified properties? See screen shot of Entra user audit log. Update: I believe this is the MS authenticator app. Problem is we did not have the authenticator app enabled for mfa. Now this user has the authenticator enabled. New question how did a hacker trick my user into changing his MFA and how did Microsoft let this happen? Thank you in advance for any help!User Roles in Microsoft 365 - BACKUP role on Roadmap?
Anyone using third party cloud to cloud backup software that requires M365 global admin rights to backup all users data from Exchange, One Drive, Sharepoint, and Teams? Is Microsoft working on a "backup only role" that would eliminate the need to provide third party backup vendors the global admin user role for backup? Or is there a way to configure a user role that would protect MS tenant data from nefarious actions initiated by the third-party backup vendor? My thoughts are a user role that has read-only rights for backup purposes only vs global admin rights to the tenant. All office applications are opening with an alternate splash screen (the white one) I believe this is because the is a problem with my user's profile. I get the alternate screen when loading all office 365 applications. I have several odd things happening on the user's computer. Can anyone tell me what the alternate screen is telling me?
