unknown error on opening a ppsx file on teams
Hi, I got an unknown error with opening a ppsx slideshow file put in a file area on Teams. I started getting this recently so I guess that came from a recent update of Teams by MS. Please Teams users show some results at your end. Thanks.755Views0likes0CommentsRe: prevent a conference recording from being downloaded
ChristianBergstrom Thanks for your message again. At my environemnt (Windows 10 Home), the following powershell command causes an error as below. Thank you for your kind advice. ChristianBergstrom Thanks. I read your tips and found those conference recordings are stored either in OneDrive or SharePoint now for A1 education users. But I could not find "Recordings" folder in my OneDrive, my root folder of OneDrive is "My files" and no "Recordings" folder under there. How could I reach to my recorded videos? FYI, I browse again my MS Stream videos but could not find those conference recordings neither whilst I could download from the channel I initiated the conference in MS Team(although it is not a preferable way to do). Thank you again.11KViews0likes9Commentsprevent a conference recording from being downloaded
Hi there, I noticed MS Teams has moved conference video storage location from MS Stream to local in MS Teams post where the conference is held. The change has made sometime in Aug 2020 for all A1 users, I suppose. Now I wonder I could prevent those conference recording made by me (conference initiator) from being downloaded by other members in the team, since it is only for my reference to review the conference quality, etc. Thanks for your tips! Tomislav Karafilov Hi, I used to have the same movements here in my teams, but I recently noticed that a recording made at the main channel is not stored to MS Stream and a download entry has been posted to the main channel after stop recording instead. It make it more inconvenient since I could not change any attributes at MS Stream as the video entry is not seen at MS Stream. Do you think you have a fix for that?Re: MS Teams Recording is not showing in Stream
kreligioso I got a similar here. Any recordings at a MS Teams team will be seen at the channel post for us to download, but the video entry could not be found at MS Stream my videos(of the initiator account nor meeting members). Since I should disable the access by other meeting members to the video for my private review of the presentation so I need to have an entry at the Steam.Re: 'Unknown User' showing when using Collaborate
CJZheng Thanks for your advice. I see no problem when I allow anyone in the organization to edit, which means anyone in the same organization can edit my form. I did encounter a problem when I allow only some people in the organization to edit but not open to all in the org. I didn't test if it happens when let the general public edit my form. I'll check that later.4.6KViews0likes0Comments
