SharePoint-site as a Teamsapp opens up sitepages in a web browser
Hi, I'm developing a custom Teams app using the Microsoft Teams Developer Portal. The app is configured to display a SharePoint site as a personal tab The initial page loads fine inside the Teams app. However, when users click on internal links (e.g., to other SitePages within the same site the link opens in a new browser window instead of navigating inside the Teams app. The settings looks ok. Both in SharePoint and in the App. The strange thing is that we have an older app / site that works as intended with the same settings. But all new sites /apps does not keep the user in the Teams app. I wonder if MS has changed something backend. I know thay changed the Website-Tab in a Microsoft Teams Team to open in the browser. Might this effect the Custom Teams app and tabs as well? Any ideas?153Views0likes1CommentOutlook Calendar "Free/Busy issues" (new org accounts)
Hi! We have noticed something strange for a few of our new org accounts. The calendar sharing setting "availability only" that we have orgwide doesn't apply in Outlook (classic app). Error when viewing said calendars and the scheduling assistant is greyed out. In Outlook web you can view said calendars and free/busy works as intended. But if you use the scheduling assistant the calendar is again greyed out. In Teams and in Outlook mobile the schedule assistant works as intended. And all the other thousands of users have no problems. We have tried changing the sharing settings to view details or add unique calendar permissions to just a few people on said calendars but still no luck. Tried reinstalling Office suit and new profiles in Outlook etc. Anyone with similar issues or anyone with ideas to solve this? Have reported this to MS but no luck with the support. Hi! Can someone explain how the limit of 15 boosts work? Our org uses Copilot (former Bing Chat Enterprise) and users get the message “You are out of boosts. Log in to continue to create” But they are already logged in with their business account. When running out of boosts our users can’t generate more images but other Copilot functionality works. Aren’t boosts just to get things done faster? The standard Copilot comes with 15 boosts but nowhere does it state in the documentation that you can’t create any more when you are out of boosts. We have the same issue. When running out of boosts our users can’t generate more images. Aren’t boosts just to get things done faster? The standard Copilot comes with 15 boosts but nowhere does it state in the documentation that you can’t create any more when you out of boosts. The message even says you can continue if you log in. Marc Mroz Is there a way for an external site to "preview" the external sharing link without embedding? When I paste a video link from SP on a Whiteboard etc I can play the video directly. As you can tell I'm fishing for workarounds here 🙂Re: Embed SharePoint Video on External Sites
We were hoping to use Stream on SharePoint as a source for videos on Intranet & LMS (Not MS based) but we need to be able to embed videos to only people accessing trough the LMS for example. Hi! I'm looking for a simple way to add a reviewdate column och the sitepages-site (/SitePages/Forms/AllPages.aspx) on a modern com-site . We have a lot of information on different sitepages and need to review every two months. So if i create a new site it should get an atomatic review date today+2months.
