Re: I am the meeting organizer, but Teams will not allow me to access Meeting Options
Same thing for me. Organising in Outlook won't let me join from either Teams or Outlook or even access Meeting Options (because I am not the organizer). I think it's something to do with caching somewhere - I've IDs in a number of tenancies - but have tried clearing browser caches and Windows credentials without success.21KViews1like0CommentsRe: Custom Background Images for Teams Meetings
CliveHornsbyGood job, Clive! The only suggestion I'd offer is to include that different resolutions and image formats can be used - subject to the comment fromduncan3about screen real estate and number of images. May I use this at one of my clients? I'm writing a pile of Tips of the Day, incorporating their information architecture and common work practices being put into place. I'm happy to share those resources. with anyone interested I've done about 25 of them so far.26KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Custom Background Images for Teams Meetings
kg1kgsave the image into the%AppData%\Microsoft\Teams\Backgrounds\Uploads folder. You can paste that link into File Explorer. The default backgrounds are PNG files at a resolution of 1920 x 1080, but I've used JPG files and a higher resolution.32KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Update: Document Sets in Modern Document Libraries
UshkaOzandLincolnDeMaris I discovered an apparent document set bug trying to add default documents. Despite # now being a legal filename character, and being able to upload files to a document set with # in the filename: * When document set settings is displayed, SharePoint only includes the characters in the filename up to the # * You get an access denied error when you try to edit and save any document set changes The issue can be resolved by deleting the document set. Which is really tough if you've already added the content type to a library and added content.3.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Update: Document Sets in Modern Document Libraries
I agree. The ability to keep a sub-set of columns and other important information front and foremost is quite important, particularly when you are using doc sets to manage a moderate or large number of cases simultaneously.3.6KViews1like0CommentsRe: Update: Document Sets in Modern Document Libraries
Heather P Sounds like inconsistent behaviour. I'm seeing different content types on the New menu at the library level and the New button within doc sets, as per the settings. It took a while (about 40 minutes) for the New button settings to flow through and be available within the doc set, and until then all I saw was the default menu you get if you aren't managing content types in the library. The only other factor I can think of is that I configured the library and doc set content type yesterday, rather than it already being an existing library and content type. At the library level: ...and within the Doc Set: Here are the Document Set settings:32KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Update: Document Sets in Modern Document Libraries
I agree. I use doc sets extensively for one of my clients to manage job files. There are about 20 metadata, including job status, payment stages, and amounts. I use different views to filter and sort to cater for different purposes. In the doc set, only the primary half dozen most important metadata properties are displayed.32KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Update: Document Sets in Modern Document Libraries
After you add the doc set based content type to a library it takes a while for library settings to be fully updated, and for the content types included in the document set to be available via the New button. Until then you see the default New menu content types. It took about 40 minutes for this to update.32KViews0likes4CommentsRe: What is the plan for "modern" Document Sets?
My 2 cents worth on doc sets, adding to some of the suggestions above... Some wish list things...with High, Medium and Low priority based on my personal preferences * Modern UI...HIgh * Able to inherit a choice of views from parent library AND/OR...Low * Able to specify views within the document set...to ensure consistency across libraries and sites using the same doc set...High * Able to set default content type for a doc set...High * Change the sharing dialog for a doc set, such that by default the checkbox indicating that sharing of docs inside the doc set is overridden is NOT checked...Medium * Fix info management policies so doc sets can be sent to another library when criteria are met...High * Fix Send to / Copy to so they work with doc sets...Medium * Fix Content Organiser so that rules work with doc sets...Medium (overall medium, but high when I'm working with Content Organiser and Dropoff Libraries) * Able to define lists within doc sets. E.g. for a meeting doc set, list of attendees, for a training course, list of bookings and confirmations * Shared metadata changed within a document flows back up to the doc set...High15KViews1like0Comments
