All print jobs error within Universal Print
Print jobs show, 'Stopped' in Azure Universal Print after spooling in Azure PQ. Will show 'Stopped' in Azure UP job log until I delete from the PQ. Then job log changes to 'Cancelled'. This happens to all functional print queues registered and shared successfully. These print queues are fully functionally print queues on the Azure server they are hosted on. Seems something on the Azure Universal Print solution causing this but I don't see any settings I can modify for spooling changes.1.7KViews0likes2CommentsWhen printing to a universal print queue, every job errors out
I have an Azure server hosting print queues. The PQ's use an FQDN on the port. The port is set to RAW 9100. I've using HP MFD's and Xerox MDF's. These print queues spool jobs without any issues directly from the server or mapped off the server to my client. I've got a connector installed which discovered the PQ's. These PQ's are registered on the connecter and are available in Azure / Universal Print. I've shared the PQ's and added permissions. I can search from my Win client and find the cloud PQ's. I can add them without any issues. It appears print jobs spool from the client's PQ's but once the file size completes the job hangs and eventually displays an error. It appears it never get's to the server. Nothing in the event log on the server either. I've unregistered PQ's and changed the port form FQDN to IP and no change. These PQ's work fine just not with Universal Print. I've attached some print queue screen shots. What else can I modify in Universal Print to complete a print job?? I can attach the connector diag of the printer if needed.2.8KViews0likes5CommentsRe: 2 print queues using the same printer are failing to register
Rani_Abdellatif @Holger Luebsen @Holger Luebsen We have around 1200 SAP print queues that share the device with a different print name. Reason is so the print queue isn't tied up with SAP jobs. We would require these print queues be registered and shared in universal print. I'll submit the request.2.2KViews1like1CommentLocation Properties / Can't save anything added to a field
When going to Location Properties within Printer Properties you can add a value to any field but the Save button is still greyed out. Also, when using 'Search for printers in my organization'. Can you use any populated field of 'Location Properties' to search for a device? Ex. if you have 4 devices on a floor of a building and you searched that floor letter, all 4 devices would populate from the search?1.4KViews0likes6CommentsRe: Connector installed on Win 10 client. After uninstalling, Connector still shows in Azure Portal.
Rani_Abdellatif Yeah, I would think the ability to keep the list of Connectors up to date would help manage a global footprint. As Connectors are decommissioned and new ones are stood up I would think you'd only want only active Connectors in the list.1KViews0likes1CommentConnector installed on Win 10 client. Installed MSFT U.P. Connector on a Win10 client. Since it's been uninstalled from that client it's still an active connector from the Azure Portal. Shouldn't it be removed from the Portal once removed from the Windows client? Thanks Larry1.1KViews0likes3CommentsTrying to find out what MFP's are compatible with Universal Print
We are in the early stages of doing a POC with Universal Print. We have a fleet of Xerox devices (fairly old) on campus. I'm trying to find out what (if any) of our Xerox devices are compatible with U/P. Xerox WorkCentre 7535 Xerox WorkCentre 7855 Xerox AltaLink C8035 Xerox ColorQube 8870 We also have a few HP devices, but these might not be available but would like to know anyways. HP LaserJet Flow MFP E52645c HP LaserJet Flow MFP E72535 HP LaserJet Flow MFP E87660z HP PageWide Color Flow E77650 Also, we are working remote like most everyone these days. Wondering what we can do remote to get what we can setup while working remote. Any tutorials or links to setting everything up would be appreciated. We currently have activated our Print Admin accounts in Azure. Can't get in the office to setup a 'Connector'. Thanks Larry1.1KViews1like2Comments
