Re: Video can't be seen by others
wendyweal: Here are the 2 scenarios where you would set permissions for a video For a video that you have already uploaded in Stream, you can edit permissions as shown in this page: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/stream/portal-edit-video. For a new video that you want to upload, you can set permissions as shown in this page: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/stream/portal-upload-video Hope this clarifies. Thanks, ChabithaRe: Video can't be seen by others
Hi wendyweal Thank you for reaching out. Please review permissions for your video to ensure that people in your organization you want to share your video have access. Details on setting permissions is here (watch the help video listed on top of this page) https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/stream/portal-upload-video Feel free to reach out if you have additional questions. Thanks, ChabithaRe: Recording doesn't show shared screen

Thanks, ChabithaRe: Unable to watch videos
Hi noemiedg Thank you for reaching out. Please notify your school Admin that you are unable to access the video and ask them to check if the permission for the video is set such that it allows you to have access. Please feel free to reach out if you have additional questions. Thanks, ChabithaRe: Problems with Captions/Transcripts
Hi M1Storyteller When you download the caption file in Stream, it should automatically make “Save as Type” to be vtt (see attached). If you don’t see that happen, then you want to force Notepad to save, say, "xyz.vtt" without a ".txt" extension, using save it as "xyz.vtt", including the quotation marks, in the Save As dialog box. When you include the quotes, Notepad will save the file with the xyz.vtt name, without adding any additional extensions. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
