Code - 50173
Hi, I see a number of Risky Sign-ins with the code 50173 - Fresh auth token is needed. Have the user re-sign using fresh credentials. And the status is "Failure". But I noticed the IP address captured is of another country. How to interpret the error code? Thanks.25KViews0likes11CommentsProviding Rooms & Equipment Admin Right
Hi, I am the administrator looking after the O365 account. I would like to designate some of the users to allow them to manage/create the resources themself. How do I create the admin access for another user to manage the Resources creation? Thanks.3.8KViews0likes5CommentsOutgoing to non-organizational email using SQL Server
Hi, I am currently subscribed to Exchange Online (Business basic). I have an application that uses the Database Mail function in SQL Server to send out emails. I noticed that if the outgoing email is sent to the organization domain, then it works. But if the Outgoing is sent to a non-organizational email/domain. Is not working. I did a check by manually login to the SMTP email account to send out to the non-organizational email address, it works as well. From the message trace, I noticed there is no email trace for those emails to the non-organizational email address that is sent out by the SQL Server. Not even with a "failed" status. Seems like the outgoing did not include those non-organizational emails in the process. The SMTP detail I configured in SQL Server: domain-com.mail.protection.outlook.com / port 25 Any advice on how to troubleshoot this? Thanks.616Views0likes0CommentsRe: Canceling Azure Subscription
tommykneetz My user is the one who subscribes to the subscription. But I am not able to cancel the subscription as an Administrator. Do I have to assign the role back to my self? I thought Administrator should already have global rights. Thanks.3.8KViews0likes1CommentCanceling Azure Subscription
I am the administrator of my organization's O365 account. I would like to cancel the Azure subscriptions subscribed by one of the user. The user who subscribes to the Azure subscription is not an administrator. When I click on the subscription name and select "Cancel subscription"; it says I do not have permission to cancel the subscription. (Refer to attached screenshot) Shouldn't the administrator have global access to manage all subscriptions? How do I cancel the subscription? Thanks.4KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Give Control of your Screen
Hi, Do we need to create a new policy just to enable "Allow an external participant to give or request control"? I can see under Global policy is already enabled, but still the request control” button was dimmed. Any idea what else is missing? Thanks.7KViews0likes0CommentsRisky Sign-In Capture for Email Client
Hi, If the "fraudster" somehow managed to set up the user account in an email client, without anyone noticing it. And the account is already in-sync with the Exchange server. Will the risky sign-in features track such scenario? Since he no longer required to perform the manual "sign-in" process. Thanks.1.1KViews0likes1CommentUser Agent = ZOOMROOMS
Hi, Under Azure AD, I see a User sign-in events with User Agent = ZOOMROOMS (ExchangeServicesClient/0.0.0.0). But the location captured is off another country of the user. Is this because of the user joining Zoom session? Or is a suspicious session? I assume you don't need to sign in using O365 account for joining Zoom session. Thanks.5.9KViews0likes1Comment"O365 Suite EX" and "Office365 Shell WCSS-Client" Compromised
Hi, I noticed the following Sign-in events originating from Nigeria, which is not the user location. Seems like something is compromised. Can I know what is the "O365 Suite UX" and "Office365 Shell WCSS-Client" about? Thanks.106KViews0likes8CommentsMultiple Sign-ins attempt not triggering Risky User/Sign-ins
Hi, Under User Sign-in events, one of the user has multiple sign-in attempt from 4 different countries. 2 countries was successful, another 2 failed. All happened within the same day. Shouldn't that generate a record under "Risky Sign-in" or "Risky Users". There is no entry triggered for this user. On what logic do the Azure AD consider the attempt as "Risky Sign-ins/User". Will "failure" attempt from another countries trigger risky record? Thanks.Solved2.9KViews0likes5CommentsEmail Backup
Hi, I am on O365 business basic package. From administrator access, what is the recommended way to backup a user email account? The scenario is we want to prevent users from clearing out their emails prior to their departure. In the event, if the user did delete everything (including empty the deleted items). We want to ensure we can still recover or access the "backup copy" for audit purposes. Any advice? Thanks.1.1KViews0likes3CommentsWhere is Block Sender listing stored?
Hi, In O365 exchange online, under Quarantine mails; if I were to select to "Block sender" in the quarantine mail option (refer screenshot). Where will this blocking happened? Is this email goes to a global block list? Or is blocked under the specific user account? Thanks.786Views0likes0CommentsRe: Windows Password Sign-In option is missing
Hi... I just discovered that option under "Your Info" to recreate a Local account. Just wondering how the Local account went disappeared in the first place. I assume was due to user sync it with a Microsoft account. Well, I am not entirely sure what is the benefit of synching it with a Microsoft account. It is a business used notebook. So we don't really use a Microsoft account. Hence we always set it up as Local account. Thanks.31KViews1like2CommentsWindows Password Sign-In option is missing
Hi, I encounter a notebook whereby when the user boot up the Windows, it has only 2 options to login, PIN and Microsoft account (email). The offline/local "password" option is missing. I have check the Sign-In option page, the Password is configured: Previously the Password option was available, user is not sure what setting was done that causes the change in the sign-in option. Anyone know how to revert this back to the local account sign-in? Thanks.31KViews1like5Comments
