Hi, it'll be great to have photo portal like today is videoportal. With ability toCreate albums, "Likes" and Commentoptions, managinge.g. permissions to Internal, external users etc. . We are finding place for shareing company photo from events to our customer or internal users.1.7KViews1like3CommentsRe: Changing our Tenant Domain name
HI Once you create tenant with the name you can't, resp. there is no option to change it. Technicaly you are creating Azure Active Directory. It's really important choose right name before creating tenant name. Your sharepoint sites will be created and available under name: @name.sharepoint.com, OneDrive @name-my.sharepoint.com etc.. Adding A domain means your users will be able to login with friendly name. e.g. firstname.lastname@contoso.com Answer is: if you want new tenant name, you need to create it and move/migrate data, users etc.27KViews1like1CommentRe: Create Shared Folders in OneDrive for Business as "root" instead of under Admin's personal account
HI absolutely agree with comments, SharePoint Online is shared space for company needs and OneDrive is for personal needs. Anyway how to create structure on sharepoint online, few tips: - think about external and internal sites (documents, information etc..) - use site collections - use in the structure more libraries, sites, subsities do NOT use one library for all company documents - check limitations - be ready with limitatons of using OneDrive for Business applications - new Windows 10 is ready and more flexible with integrated OneDrive app - try adoption campaing for users, what is the best way how to use services, not just SPO, but also exchange etc..63KViews0likes1CommentRe: restoring deleted user is giving me "Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Storage.InvalidLicenseException"
Hi Check user mailbox in https://outlook.office365.com/ECP if the mailbox size is correct. Then convert it to shared mailbox and give full access to your admin account (at this step you can remove license from account). Looks like problem on exchange services, maybe temporary/maybe not.13KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Options to store and share photos with public.
Hi, simply answer is no. You can't create and share photo album and managing access.I've asked for this feature/service few weeks ago. Because something similar is in comercial onedrive, hope, guys from Microsoft will improve and introduce new service "Photo" in the future ;)3.6KViews0likes1CommentRe: Sharepoint Online - users access without licenses
Thank you for response. 1. About Internal/External users - this will be in the future or it's right now? i've made few tests now: - allow full control for internal (synchronized)user to O365 root site. After login user can do everything with permissions Full control - allowing Full control for External user was same as with internal 2. About shareing to external usersi know options (thank you for link) - this point is clear for me 3. Yes we have SP onpemise and in the near future will be created hybrid envirtonment - this point is clear for me.129KViews0likes0CommentsSharepoint Online - users access without licenses
Hi I have question about internal users accessto Sharepoint Online Site Collections without license. What i know: - users can access to the sites without license (e.g. where are Everyone permisssions) Questions: - i'm finding oficial answer of Microsoft how it's working and how it willbe in the future - how can i setup and prepare our customers with this option for the future (for businesses cases, company license model etc. ) Actual situation: - my opinion is: actual situation is good for us, internal users (without licenses)can access to documents and colaborate with collegues which have licenses - we can extend our intranet to O365, create separated zone (sites)for shareing documents without affecting internal documents. - after shareing sites to external user (to microsoft account) From this contact is created regular cloud account user_outlook.com#EXT#@yourtenant.onmicrosoft.com. To this user you can assing license etc.130KViews0likes9CommentsRe: Tenant Storage?
