Re: Microsoft Cloud App Security Session Policy For .PDF Viewing
Well, I understand, that PDF needs to be downloaded to read it, at least so far. Anyway, it looks like there was an option to read PDFs in Office Online? (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/cloud-storage-partner-program/faq/pdf-support) Since PDF is a very common file format, it would be great to be able, to read them online - without the hassle of downloading these files and the disadvantage of the possibility to forget to delete such a file on a "public accessible" device.3.8KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Guidance with Outlook App Configuration Policies and Conf.Keys for Android
JohannesW60 Maybe a bit late but I'm getting this error when I try to create a configuration for a "managed app" instead of "managed devices". This is required to serve our Android device administrator enrollments in China. I tried this key value pair to pre-set {{userprincipalname}} as username in the app.6.8KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Missing or Delayed notifications
Does that mean, that they implemented a fix in a future version? What I observed is, that sometimes, when I get and read a message on my phone, sometimes I have to wait for long until the message appears in the client app. Just as side note and most probably not related: I have also a similar issue on my phone. Sometimes I see the notification but the client doesn't refresh and showing up the latest message. I have to close and open the app to read the message.28KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Guest user with Global admin role
Devryk Yes, this solution only works to get proper permissions but... It looks to me as if the only multi tenant capable console is Azure Portal. We had to create a dedicated Admin for our partner. Very ugly solution but currently the only way to get what we want. Microsoft has to provide multi tenant support for all the consoles.38KViews1like0CommentsRe: Guest user with Global admin role
Taen keren I know, this thread is already old. We are currently struggling with the same topic. Did you find a way to add a Guest to Global Admin (or SP Admin) in order to use the Sharepoint admin center? I had to change member type via powershell from Guest to Member. This workaround does the job, means the user can access the admin center. Nevertheless, it is an ugly solution. In addition, we do have another problem when accessing further admin centers. The invited admin always jumps into its own Tenant and we didn't find a way to change this behavior... so far.39KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Missing or Delayed notifications
Eric_H I got also the feedback, that sometimes messages have a delay from 5-10 minutes. I have even one with around 1 day delay. I then checked whether we have set Teams only or not. Unfortunately, we are already running on Teams only mode. I don't think, that this setting helps. What is your experience so far (after 6 months?)48KViews0likes4CommentsLinux Client: Authentication issue with vIDM (WorkspaceOne Access)
We are testing the new Linux client internally. During first authentication (connect Teams and your account) we run into a "202 ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID" error. In the beginning, we first assumed, that it has something to do with our SSL inspection. After some debugging, we now see the root cause somewhere between the Teams client and our IDM. We use WorkspaceOne Access and have a access policy in place for all O365 services - also Teams. The policy is: If coming from an internal (company own external) IP address, try... ...using your Kerberos ticket firstly ...using Username and Password as fallback Since we don't have Kerberos on Linux devices, it actually should fallback to Username and Password. Unfortunately the Teams client overtakes and gives the mentioned error back before vIDM can proceed with the fallback method. I deactivated Kerberos to test the behavior and it is working as expected. After entering Username and Password, Teams connects my user and everything runs well. Does anyone have the same issue or, much better, a workaround for it? Are there somewhere logs on the client we could check? If there is something else I can provide, just ask. Thanks, Alex2.1KViews1like1Comment
