How to move videos from Microsoft Stream (Classic) manually
This article will focus on showing you how to manually move your videos from the Microsoft Stream (Classic) channels to OneDrive for Business, SharePoint, and/or Microsoft Teams today. As previously announced in October new Team Meeting Recordings will store OneDrive or SharePoint and customers can opt-out by running a this PowerShell Script. Starting July 2021 for all Microsoft 365 customers, all Teams Meetings recordings will now be automatically stored in OneDrive for Business or SharePoint. That will mean no new Teams Meeting recordings can be saved in Microsoft Stream (Classic). Having new Team Meetings recordings in ODSP has the benefits of allowing customers to utilize the various content management capabilities like setting sensitivity / retention polices on videos, making the permissions and sharing more consistent with the Microsoft suite, increased upload quotas for videos, making meeting recordings available faster, and enabling more benefits from the OneDrive for Business and SharePoint information governance that Microsoft Stream (Classic) does not currently offer. The Microsoft Stream product team understands that many customers have a good amount of content in Classic Stream. They are actively developing a migration process to help you in this video journey. Please follow the Stream roadmap at https://aka.ms/streamroadmapupdates for more features coming out for Microsoft Stream. Meanwhile this article describes the process of manually moving videos from Classic Stream to ODSP. Download Video from Stream To access Microsoft Stream, you can navigate to web.microsoftstream.com or in the Microsoft App Launcher click on the Stream Icon. Navigate to the video you would like to move to a new location by clicking on My Content. If the video was a meeting recording, click Meetings. Click the Edit Icon to navigate to the Video Settings. While in the Video setting, click the "Download Video" button to start the download process. Once the video is downloaded to your computer, then you can start working on uploading the file to OneDrive for Business / SharePoint / Microsoft Teams. Microsoft References to upload videos. Andrei_E - Video performance issues are not part of the normal operating standards for Stream. I would suggest you check the Service Health (All Services, Incidents, Advisories, and Reported Issues tabs) to check if any outages or issues are being reported. If you don't see any reported issues with Microsoft Stream, you will need to submit a case with Microsoft from your Microsoft Admin Center Portal by Clicking on the Support > New Service Request. Microsoft 365 Admin Center https://admin.microsoft.com/#/homepageRe: Reducing the size of Stream videos (to enable attachment to case mgmt systems e.g. MOSAIC)
edbpcc To reduce the size of the video you will reduce the quality when you lower the video resolution. One option, you can download the video manually and use an online converter. Then replace the video in Stream. I highly suggest you manually download the video from Stream and upload it in OneDrive or SharePoint. Then you can use the "Send a link" feature to properly share the video without attaching to the case system. This will get you around the minimal file size requirement in your case management system and also provide a way for users to access the video link in a consistent manner. This will also allow the video owner to update the video and not having to update it in multiple locations. PaulaBarnes I am replying to a few items: 1. Personal or Sensitive Information - Check to see if you are using words like "password" or "secret" or "username". 2. Phishing Issue - If you have been blocked due to Phishing detected you can get your Global Admin to check the Message Center to grant consent to your Form and this should correct the issue.18KViews2likes3CommentsRe: Microsoft Forms Limitations
I have found the limitations to be frustrating. I have been converting those that past the limits to PowerApps. I found the latest support article with Forms limitations. https://support.office.com/en-us/article/get-started-1dd58027-40dc-42d0-9ca4-80ddecc5c696?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US22KViews1like2Comments
