Re: Document Sets stuck in Classic View
This worked well for me. I had migrated a classic library and document set CT from SP2013 to SP Online using ShareGate Migration Tool. As discussed above, everything works except my classic Welcome page was appearing when I click on a Doc Set folder link. Incidentally, I did have some customizations on my classic Welcome page. Following your steps above, the Welcome page was reverted to its default configuration. Now my modern doc set behaves properly, opens the folder and displays the metadata side panel instead of a Welcome page. Thanks!2.6KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Q&A App - There was a problem reaching this app
Thanks for the prompt reply! Judging from the documentation, its no trivial matter to get Q&A running properly. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems anonymous webinar registrants will not be able to participate in the Q&A. Is it sufficient that they sign into with their own M365 account? Is there any other tool which would allow anonymous attendees to submit questions? It seems to me that Live Events allow for this.5.7KViews0likes1CommentRe: Q&A App - There was a problem reaching this app
The previous solution (a link to the docs) no longer works, link is broken. It is probably outdated anyways because Q&A App was removed from Teams App Store in August 2022. It is now January 2023, I am running my first test Webinar, but when I click on Q&A I get the same error: "There was a problem reaching this app" We are not using Yammer, but I don't think it's blocked (I see Yammer for Academic is included). Can you please advise how to fix this?6.2KViews1like4CommentsRe: Cannot open SharePoint document in Word for Mac (stuck on ADFS authentication)
Hi Damien_Rosario Thanks for you response. Eliminating the popup blocker (in the browser) worked for a day, and then suddenly had no effect. And then a few days later I re-tested and ADFS authentication starting behaving properly again in Word for Mac, regardless of the state of the popup blocker! I just tested again after a week has passed and it's still working properly, with or without popup blocker enabled. I have no idea what has changed. I don't think my network admin has changed anything on his end. I will follow up with him just to make sure.1.8KViews0likes1CommentCannot open SharePoint document in Word for Mac (stuck on ADFS authentication)
When we select 'Edit in Word' from Word Web App, Word tries to authenticate the user by launching a small browser window and navigating to the ADFS 3.0 login page. This works OK on Windows (apart from an annoying JS exception) but fails miserably on Mac. Word of Mac cannot seem to reach the ADFS login page. Instead, it navigates to the extranet (where the user is already authenticated). Word for Mac can go no further. I have to Force Quit the application. What's interesting is that when we bypass our Fortinet Application Firewall, authentication in Word for Mac starts working! Unfortunately, my network administrator is not keen to bypass the application firewall, so we're stuck trying to tweak browser settings hoping to find a solution. We had a little success disabling the popup blocker, but that seemed to only help for a day, then the old behavior returned. Can anyone help with this? Rukma_Srip My issue is similar... when we select 'Open in Word' from Word Web App, Word launches but cannot properly authenticate with our ADFS server. Instead of showing login page in a browser window, it shows the actual sharePoint site in a browser window. So then Word does not proceed to opening the document and I have to Force Quit Word for Mac. What's interesting is that we have a Fortinet Application Firewall. When we bypass the application firewall, authentication starts working. Unfortunately, my network administrator is not keen to bypass the application firewall, so we're stuck trying to tweak browser settings to make it work. We had a little success disabling the popup blocker, but that seemed to only help for a day, then the old behavior returned. I may submit this as a new conversation, but I wanted to share with you as well. Good luck! Aaron1.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: What happens when an O365 user surpasses 2000 API calls per day?
imihaljko I am actually referring to the document below where it shows 2000 API calls for Power Platform requests from Office 365 user. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/api-request-limits-allocations Thanks Aaron2.6KViews0likes0Comments
