Hello! We have two Azure AD connect servers Main and Staging. We plan to use staging server only in failover cases. In Azure AD connect we use positive filtering and synchronize only selected accounts by its attributes. During testing i noticed that main server can synchronize user when attribute is assigned and delete account from Azure when this attribute is deleted from the user. But! When if i assign attribute, synchronize user and change server from main to staging server user will not be deleted automatically after attributes will be deleted from the account. This is normal work of staging server? I think its because of different databases, where history of changes are store. How we can avoid such situations?780Views0likes0CommentsHealth SyncAgent Configuration Failed

Hello! When we installed Azure AD Connect on the first server we used option "Create new account", those moment new account was created in our AD with prefix MOSL_xxxxxxxxxx. This accound has all necessary access rights for working with our local domain forest. Now we want to create second (staging) Azure AD Connect server, can we use the same account for our second installation? Or there is some limitations for this? How we can know this account password, or we can reset it? If we reset the password where we need to change it inside our first installation?1.9KViews1like1CommentSharePoint Online Access Rights on Shared Folders.

IvanBelev All your users are actually stored not in Office365 but in Azure. As far as i understand you can do this in two steps: 1) Export Azure users 2) Import exported users in local AD But im not sure you can export them with their passwords. Here is the example: https://vmlabblog.com/2020/02/how-to-export-an-azure-ad-account-to-the-ad/53KViews0likes0CommentsRe: List all users' last login date

Hello everyone! Not sure this is correct place to ask but i didn't found more suitable group. I want to ask a question regarding Active Directory groups basics. Everyone remember the rule: if we have two AD domains (in one tree), and we want to add some user from first domain into the group in the second, we need to create a group in the first domain add the user into it and add this group into the group in the other domain. But not the other way: to add a user directly from the first domain into the group in the second domain. I want to ask everyone, is this rule actual in 2020? This rule basically based on the technical limitations or this is just the best practice?Solved2.9KViews1like3CommentsRe: Adding Sharepoint directories to desktop clients.
