Re: Search within "Group By" filters not showing correct records
Per a user they were able to search in group by view without a problem until recently. So, "something" has changed. Their default view is group by because it is user-friendly. Telling users to expand all the groups or to go to another view without grouping is cumbersome, so hopefully this can be resolved. Search operators do not help in the group by view. While typing in the keyword the results returned below the search box are correct in both views (see attached). Same problem when I tested several lists and libraries. None are over the threshold. Kerem Yuceturk - Suggestion you may already have on your list. Search result returns the site title. Problem is it also returns the web address name of the list and library instead of the title which would be more user-friendly. Example: Document resides in a library with the title of "Employee-New" . Web address for the library is newterm.Re: Choice column problem - new experience
Kimberly Roetman Hi Kimberly, Thanks for the speedy reply. It does work, but the customer does not want to deal with unwanted entries which is a high likelihood with the users. Still good to know if no one else has a solution. Forgot to post there is not a problem with checkboxes (allow multiple selections) .Choice column problem - new experience
Choice column. Drop down Menu. Not required and no default value. In classic experience user tabs to the column which starts with no choice. They can use the arrow keys to cycle through choices and return to no choice. In new experience the first item is displayed with tabbing, user can cycle though choices, but they are stuck with having to make a selection. Is this by design ? OTB is to add "Select a size" and make it the default?
