Visitors sees drafts
In a site pages library I set versioning to: Require Approval = no Versions = create major and minor versions Who can see draft items = only users who can edit Require check out = no I have two users who can see draft versions then only having visitor permission. This happens in both Edge and Chrome. They've had members permissions before. Does any one have a clue? I tried soo many thing sp far with no luck. I have an events list on our root site (/) and if I try to show events from that list on another site there is a strange problem. The Events web part will only show only two (2) items if there is no filter for category no matter how I configure it. If I enter a category I get the number of events configured for the web part. Does anyone have a clue? Is there any limitations to the web part? I've checked search settings and more but can not find anything explaining why this happens. Oh, this is on SharePoint Online. Does anyone know way I get this behavior on a SharePoint 2016 OnPrem Server? Clicking +New in a doucment library opens the Upload dialog? I have not enabled Content Types in the library which usually is the reason. Turning that setting on -> off makes no difference. I have no problem with removing the behvaior. The problem is how it was deployed and not giving customers and the community not even a day to act on it. That is not a professional service as this impacts a lot of business-critical solutions. The 90 day reactivation should have been announced as "We will block this in 90 days".12KViews5likes0Comments
